Publisher's summary

Bride McTierney has had it with men. They're cheap, self-centered, and never love her for who she is. But though she prides herself on being independent, deep down she still yearns for a knight in shining armor.

She just never expected her knight in shining armor to have a shiny coat of fur...

Deadly and tortured, Vane Kattalakis isn't what he seems. Most women lament that their boyfriends are dogs. In Bride's case, hers is a wolf. A Were-Hunter wolf. Wanted dead by his enemies, Vane isn't looking for a mate. But the Fates have marked Bride as his. Now he has three weeks to either convince Bride that the supernatural is real or he will spend the rest of his life neutered--something no self-respecting wolf can accept...

But how does a wolf convince a human to trust him with her life when his enemies are out to end his? In the world of the Were-Hunters, it really is dog-eat-dog. And only one alpha male can win.

Come Play with the Dark Hunters

Kenyon's Dark Hunter world grows bigger and hotter with each installment. You can't go wrong with any of her books, and on audio they are even more sexy with the character's accents done with professional narration. Readers are swept into this fantastical world. *Important to read this series in order.*

Good Boy!

What made the experience of listening to Night Play the most enjoyable?

I can't stress enough how good a job Fred Berman does reading these books. I especially love the way he reads Simi and Ash and I hope to hear from them in every book. He does a great job bringing every character to life.

What did you like best about this story?

I really enjoyed the fact that this novel involved a wolf instead of a dark hunter in the lead role. I also enjoyed how the author found another non-typical but completely unique female lead. When I know a series has 20 plus books in it I worry that at some point the new creative ideas will give out and it will become reading the same book over and over again. With this author I don't have to worry about that I am blown away by each book.

Have you listened to any of Fred Berman’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Yes, he is awesome. I can't stand that someone else narrated the first couple books in this series but I am so grateful that someone made the switch to Mr. Berman.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Vane meeting Bride's family.

Any additional comments?

Since I wasn't specifically asked I will just say that yes, this book is worth a credit.

Narrator Fred Berman did a wonderful job with the character Vane. His voice really became the character and the emotional level was right on the money.

Who was your favorite character and why?
Vane! Such a strong man and when he meets Bride...oh my gosh! What woman wouldn't want someone like Vane to walk into her life and be a real hero? I Love him as much as I love Asheron and Zerek!

Have you listened to any of Fred Berman’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Wonderful Story

This story reminds us all of the true power of love. Vane loves Bride no matter what, he breaks the mold and shows her that with love everything is posible. Vane teaches Bride that in order to love you must love yourself faults and all. This is top ten in my book library.
