long and boring
Long drawn out story with boring dialogue. Useless angst to try to drum up some interest. Performance was fine, she just didn't have any material.

What would have made Keeper of the Bride better?
A better story!

Yes, but not this one! Love her medical mysteries, but this was beyond bad!

Not what I expected
What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?
This book is more of a romance novel than a mystery. Don't expect a Rizzoli and Isles style mystery. The essential elements of a good mystery are here but the book really revolves around relationship developing between the two main characters.
Would you ever listen to anything by Tess Gerritsen again?

Worst Tess Gerritsen EVER written....DID she write
What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?
Totally predictable, no backbone to any of the characters and if I had not listened to so many books by Tess Gerritsen and this were my first one.....it would DEFINITELY be my last. I can't believe that she actually wrote this. Characters have no substance...plot is any that a sixth grader could write.....(and that's not being complimentary to sixth graders)
AWFUL! Would LOVE to have my money back on this one!
How did the narrator detract from the book?
Flat, no emotion....might as well have been reading a cookbook.
What character would you cut from Keeper of the Bride?
The question should be which character would I KEEP
