A very humorous book!

I love a book in which I laugh through most of it! This book is such a one! The Earl, Marcus, has known his best friend, Daniel's sister, Honoria, for most of his life - but never was attracted to her when they were both young - but now she's grown into a woman, and although, at first, Marcus doesn't know what to call or, he is falling more and more in love with Honoria - she is the only one who really understands him. However, before he was forced to leave the country, Daniel asks Marcus to "look after" his sister, Honoria, to make sure she doesn't marry a jerk! It's a lovely funny story, I think one of Julia Quinn's best!

Love any books by Julia Quinn.

She writes great romance full of so much emotions and just enough laughter to keep things light.

Delightful!

A delightful, fun and feel good kind of book just the Bridgeton series.
We get to find out what goes on with the performers of the SMYTHE-SMITH musical in which many memorable scenes took place in Julia Quinn’s other novels. The book doesn't have a serious angst, a melodrama nor is a nefarious plot with a villain. What it has is a heartwarming romance between two nice people surrounded by fun secondary characters. If you want to have a nice fluffy romance that will make you feel good and let you forget about all the headaches of the daily life, this book is for you.

Really cute book

Love Rosalyn Landor and this was a pretty good book. I loved finding out about Honoria and the musical group. I laughed out loud a few times in this book. It is just a light read so don't expect too much but it was very enjoyable.

Vintage (and I mean VINTAGE)Love Story

Would you try another book from Julia Quinn and/or Rosalyn Landor?

I don't think my eyes could handle anymore eye rolling

What could Julia Quinn have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

It was a sweet story. It read like a novel from the 1800s. There was five minutes of love scene, but the rest was shallow and slow.

Have you listened to any of Rosalyn Landor’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

not that I know of,but she did a fine job.

Was Just Like Heaven worth the listening time?

I made it to the end.

Any additional comments?

If I were born in 1848, I might have found this interesting.
