Can Jessamine manage to hold on to her job without losing her heart?

I really enjoyed Jessamine's Folly. Just when I thought is was going to be a bit predictable the author threw in a twist! It was a delight to listen to a clean romance with a bit of mystery as well. Characters were well developed, some loveable and others that were just nasty. All performed well by the narrator. I was very glad there was an epilogue.
I love this type of book
and this one was very interesting and I like the characters and I like the reader . Since I buy a lot of audio books to download the reader is very important to me . The author did a good job and I thoroughly enjoyed it
I thoroughly enjoyed this story. The theme wasn't all that new, which is fine with me because a good story can be told in so many different ways, but the depth of feeling from all of the characters was very good - in the villans as well as the heros. Love the twists here and there. I hope audible brings more Suanne G Rogers books to its store!
Jessamine of course. Enduring, and romantic without being sappy.
She always brings characters amazingly to life and her accents are perfect. She's my go to narrator.
I loved the twist and turns that happened. You would think one thing was going to be it, but then something else would occur.
Jassamine's first kiss
Can't choose just one. Stevie did an amazing job!
Romance, intrigue and something else
To the author. This was a wonderful book. The only thing I would have liked is that the main story would not end so abruptly with the loose ends being tied up in the epilogue. I could have easily listened to another hour or 2 detailing some of those last events. I'm looking forward to your next publication.
Stevie Zimmerman brings this very enjoyable tale to life in practically full color perfection. This is the first book by Suzanne G. Rogers on Audible and I fervently hope for more!
I don't usually read or listen to period romances from the turn of the 20th century. But I found that this story in the very beginning of the 1900's was so well done and totally enjoyable that I may just look for more.
Some of the twists surprised me... but no spoilers.
Heat Factor: this is a very clean book with a little tension but no heat at all. It doesn't matter.
Creditworthy? Yes.... but I think it cost less than a credit so I bought it. It was worth it either way.
'It always seems impossible until it's done.' (Mandela)
Sweet historical romance. I was surprised that it was set in the early 1900s. The events could have been 18th century. Comings out, arranged marriages, Family secrets, poor orphans in a romance that fortunately ends well. A pleasant read. Nicely narrated.
This is the first book I've reviewed-after a great many! I'm taking the time because this is a new author not well known. She should be! The story was very good and you got to know and have feelings towards the various characters. Well worth the credit and hoping you'll carry more of her work
