Great

I really liked this book and would recommend this book. I wish this book was a movie or TV show. It had a great storyline and sexual storylines. The narrator didn't do this book justice.

A Fairytale For Adults Only

I simply loved the story. Refreshing and another one of Brenda Jackson's steamy stories. an Island Getaway to have a baby. what an original idea. I actually listen to the story twice. however I would have enjoyed a different narrator but she did the job.

Not as bad as many reviews say

I've heard worse narrators, but not the best. Yes the French accent was a bit much, however considering the character did not grow up in France and he is also of mixed ethnicity (French/African American); accent wouldnt be true. Brenda Jackson's stories are always good. This is definitely on the erotica side; tasteful. I read the ebook first so was already familiar and it is one of my faves from the series.

Closer to erotica than romance

This book is closer to erotica than romance, but if you are okay with that, then you'll love this book. It is well-written and well-narrated, with likable characters and a fast moving plot -- the plot being, of course, sex sex sex.

This is my second time through. I loved the story and the movement and momentum were excellent.

Good story but

The story was good but the narrator wasn’t that good. I did enjoy however Taylor and Dominic’s story.

Skeletons in closets

When skeletons are not dealt, it equals unresolved conflicts. Unresolved conflicts lead to Resentments & resentments can grow into an all time war in families. This family is no different.

Good story. Performance not so good.

This was the first book from Brenda Jackson I read on kindle some time ago before Audible. I decided to listen to some of the older books now on audible. When I listened to the preview, I didn’t have high hopes for the performance. I know doing voice acting is difficult especially crossing genders. This one was not good. The French accent was awful. However, I give her credit for effort.

I listen to this audiobook all the time, but it's not because of the narration by Montana Chase, which is mediocre at best. Ugh...that fake French accent. I listen to it because I Love the story! Irresistible Forces was my introduction to the Wonderful World of Brenda Jackson.

Who was your favorite character and why?

My favorite character was Dominic Saxon, the hero. He was/is my first book boo. Love everything about his character.

Would you listen to another book narrated by Montana Chase?

Nah, I'll pass on Montana's narration, especially if she has to do a foreign accent.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

I loved the moment when Taylor and Dominic were getting ready to leave the island, and neither of them was in a big hurry. Their "baby making" tryst had developed into something more than just that, and It was very apparent at that moment that their relationship had changed.

Any additional comments?

Definitely my No. 1 story written by Brenda Jackson.
