The only thing better than cake is cake with a side of orgasms.
Dylan James has no expectations when it comes to relationships. He uses women for sex and they use him for his money and power. It's quid pro quo and he's good with that. It works.
Beth Harrison has been burned. She's tired of the lies and the game playing that men bring and has buried herself in her passion - baking, which keeps her out of the reach of heartbreak. As she begins her career as a TV baker, a new world opens up to her.
Dylan and Beth both know that casual sex is all about giving what you need to get what you want.
Except that sometimes you give more than you need to and get everything you ever wanted.
Indigo Nights is a stand-alone novel with no cliffhanger.

This is a light, easy, entertaining listen. The story was interesting and humorous at times. The narrator did a great job. It was just a nice easy listen.
I was provided this book as an ARC.
Who doesn't love Andi Arndt and Sebastian York? They do a great job narrating this book! Good story! Worth the credit.
Great love story!
Dylan's romancing after Beth left for London. He is perfect.
Everything. The emotion in their voice put me in Beth and Dylan's heads. They made me feel the story.
I can't say I had any extreme reactions but I did love the book and the audio.
I have become a fan Of Andi and Sebastian York working together this book is amazing. I was disappointed that i started lisening to it late in the day , because i coukd not put it down for a second. Such a cute story.
English is not my first language.
The first time Dylan says to himself (EARLY in the book) that he is going to tell Beth that he owns the company, and surprise surprise, he doesn't. You know that it is going to be a redicilous amount of time before Beth finns out, and of course from someone else. It is too annoying for a great writer to take that route. But at least don't wait until the last 1/4 of the book to let it all crumble, so if you actually liked the book up until then. You get so disappointment that you just sigh.
I love being swept away by a new romance and thankfully Audible's ever growing Library means I get to indulge myself over and over again
This book was a gamble for me because I hadn't heard of this author before but I got it for three reasons - I thought the cover image was sultry, I love a Billionaire bad boy story and I love the narration of Sebastian York and Andi Arndt. And thankfully my gamble paid off because this was a sweet, light, sexy, fun and very compelling listen with not a lot of angst, suspense or drama.
Beth is a beautiful loving recovering alcoholic who'd been in a toxic relationship 3 yrs earlier that had sent her over the top and left her with bad memories, insecurities and trust issues. Dylan is a hot, dirty talking drool (and sigh) worthy Billionaire Playboy and he too had been burned before - so now his sex life is just made up of very casual hookups with absolutely no strings or commitments. He isn't arrogant but he is confident in his looks and the effect they have on women who all vie for his attention, his body... and his money - and he is happy to indulge.
So when his flight is delayed and he has an unexpected overnight stay... Dylan thought what better way to spend it than having a steamy one night of fun with his beautiful fellow passenger. But in between the chemistry and flirty banter he soon learnt that Beth is no greedy superficial shallow lay and this woke up his tender, sweet, protective, possessive and vulnerable side - and Beth initially trod very carefully with Dylan to protect her sobriety and her heart. And what started out as a fling soon turned into love... but an annoying ex Fiancé and a secret spilled soon derailed everything.
This was a quick, easy and predictable listen because you just know that when the Hero has a secret and naively holds back on sharing vital information with the Heroine then it's a ticking time bomb and that secret (once out) is going to blow up and cause major damage. I have no problem with insta-romance but I know some of you do - so be warned this is one of those books. It was enjoyable, very addictive, entertaining, sexy, passionate and had a loveable cast of characters but it wasn't deep. Dual POV's, standalone and a HEA was eventually reached after the double whammy of blows to Beth's heart that was accidentally and innocently inflicted by Dylan.
Worth a credit? Yes... as long as you're not looking for anything more than a very good, well narrated and light insta-everything romance between two people whose pasts have made them vulnerable to doubts, trust insecurities and shaped who they had become. But once they finally overcame those insecurities their relationship blossomed.
I enjoyed this book and will be check this authors other books. Read brilliantly by my favourite narraters.
