Cruel alien masters have oppressed Tabitha for the last 10 years. An Alliance observer discovers that she's been experimented on and pulls her from the slave colony. She's going to be granted the privilege of becoming an indentured bride.
Tabitha doesn't see her new assignment as a privilege. Her duties seem pretty clear cut, and she knows what Hax-Rah aliens are like. The last thing she wants is to be stranded on a moon with one.
Hex-Lord Jaxil took an isolated mission for a reason, and he never asked for a bride.

The story really draws you in so quickly! I really loved it! It was so creative in developing it's own world and character to care for in a short amount of time. I will never tire of Yamila's works!❤
Another excellent book from Yamila. As always, her world building is interesting and believable, with excellent characters to match. The narration is spot on, allowing you to empathize with Tabitha as she goes on her frightening journey and the budding attraction to her master. Definitely worth it!
My name is Irene and I'm a lifelong bookaholic. A few years ago, I started adding audiobooks and I'm so happy I joined Audible in 2015 :-))
If an alien romance can be written in a dystopian society, Abraham is your woman(?). Even so, there is some HEA in this one.
