Publisher's summary

Lieutenant-Colonel Nathaniel Carrick, Viscount Healeyfield returned home from the battlefields with nothing but his honor, his excellent eye-sight, and a crumbling abbey to his name. As luck would have it however, his wealthy mentor has a daughter of marriageable age that he'd like to see wed before he dies. Almost instantly, Nathaniel is quite smitten with the girl. She's lovely, enchanting and the most unique female of his acquaintance. Unfortunately, the girl in question is quite adamant that her one true love, whoever he may be, has but a single eye.

A fanciful Story!

A reviewer said it was a fantasy (the faculty or activity of imagining things, especially things that are impossible or improbable), and normally I do not mind unrealistic books. I've read a few time travel books I enjoyed, but I'm not into fairies and brownies, etc.

I would never have believed Ava Stone could write something like this. I've read a couple of her books I've thoroughly enjoyed, but this was not one of them.

I enjoy Stevie Zimmerman's narrations, so I thought I couldn't go wrong with the combination of Ava Stone and Stevie Zimmerman. I was wrong.

Sweet magical love story!

Every now and then I love to read something short and sweet. This good hit the mark. It was a bit whimsical, magical but had a touch of romance for the length of book it was. I enjoyed following how the couple actually fell in love by following their hearts. Which is what we all do in real life, right? Yes I recommend this book. Made me smile when I was finished with it!

My Favorite

Where does In the Stars rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Has to be my top five!

Who was your favorite character and why?

I Loved everyone of them but Nathaniel the hero would have to be my favorite. I so want a guy like him in my life to fall in love with! He's so sweet and kind, so patient and non-judgemental, he listens and is just oh so perfect and honest!

What does Stevie Zimmerman bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I love Stevie! She does a wonderful job voicing each character and distinguishing each with just her voice! It's amazing.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Will you fall for a girl who believes in fairies, auras, and fortune-telling?

Any additional comments?

I Love you Ava Stone!!!

A fairytale for adults

Delightful. Perfect length for an evening or a trip to grandmother's house. Totally different from the other books in the series. Complete in itself. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did
