Good romance book.

First time for this author like the first book and went on for two more. Kept my interest. Can't wait for Sarah's next book.

Better than book one!

This book was much better than the previous one. This book was much more emotional including many moments of angst. Both the Hero and the Heroine suffered emotional abuse, while growing up, and the scarring affected their abilities to have a healthy, loving relationship. They do get their HEA but they suffer several numbs, along the way.

Sometimes I wanted the throttle the main characters...

Overall, this book was well worth the read! There were times, however, when I wanted to throttle Jake and Amanda! Their constant miscommunication and assumptions were too much, but they’re beautifully flawed (as many of us are) and deserved all the 2nd and 3rd chances they could get! I read book 4 before starting the series from the beginning, so seeing Penny introduced was a real treat. Ray, too ;0) Still, Jake & Amanda may be my favorite couple so far! As always, Sarah Castille created an engaging and steamy story. I look forward to book 3!

Not my favorite but still a good read.

I really enjoyed this story. Jake is a great character. Strong, intelligent, talented and loveable. Amanda, while being a smart lawyer, kind of drove me a little... nuts. She bounced around, emotionally, so often that I felt like I got whiplash. Toward the end she got better and I really enjoyed how the characters ended up. Can't wait to read more about the other characters. Well done to the author.

I love this story couldn't stop listening to it manda and jake had a lot of trials and tribulations to go through but in the end it was amazing the ending. Lucy Rivers does an amazing job narrating this book.

Avid book reader.

I really enjoyed this book. It's full of humor, feistiness, steamy scenes, and much more. I couldn't put it down. Now, guess I should read the first book, oops! I would recommend this book to any one who enjoys this type of genre.

I really liked the story. I do wish he had a pov, it would have made the story better. Plus it was bonus that Makayla was not in this book .. overall it was a good book

BOOK TWO WAS A TOTAL KNOCK-OUT

What a great follow up book and what a great drama filled love story.... I couldn't stop listening as the train wreck of Jake and Amanda's relationship picks up again two years later and the sexual tension and sizzling chemistry is still there between them but this time Jake wants more from Amanda.

Gorgeous Alpha Jake was so patient, thoughtful, kind, sexy, protective and loving when it came to Amanda but he just couldn't break down her lifelong defences no matter how hard, and what, he tried. Apart from the steamy romance, the plot was also about a legal battle with Amanda's ex employers but it was also packed full of hot MMA fighters and entertaining secondary characters most of whom we met in book 1 and it was nice to catch up with Makayla and Torment.

Worth a credit? Sarah Castille certainly knows just how to write about and describe a hot testosterone filled virtual Hero for me to drool over and there was plenty of excitement, angst, drama, sex, romance, fun, frustration and it all added up to a GREAT listen.... and YES it was so worth the credit.
