Publisher's summary

Ryon Hunter sees dead people - spirits that beg him for help in ways he can't understand. He'd do anything to end the torment, until a beautiful spirit appears to him with a plea he can't ignore: Help me . . . I'm alive. The woman is wildlife biologist Daria Bradford, mortally wounded after encountering a white wolf, calling to Ryon through a rare Psy gift.

When Ryon locates Daria in the Shoshone National Park, it is almost too late, but nursing her back to health at the Alpha Pack compound brings a new complication - Daria is his destined mate, and Ryon is afraid of what will happen when she discovers what he is and what he had to do to save her life. But the biggest threat of all is still loose in the forest, leaving a merciless trail of death behind it. The Alpha Pack goes on the hunt for the mysterious white wolf, determined to stop the murderous rogue . . . only to find that the most lethal creature of all is the one they can't see coming.

Not the best in the series

I really wished this was better... Narration was great..but story was just not as good as book 1, 2 or 3. The only thing I really liked was the white wolf. If you follow along with the series you know Nick, the leader is a born white wolf...so you know his mate is gonna be a white wolf as well. Plus there is already a story there, because every time each alpha member finds their mate, Nick gets all... (hiding something mode)...

The narration was superb, as usually from Kristen Potter...just story was not all that great... I mean it was ok... needed to get to next book...but it felt like a filler book...

Good credit while waiting on another book to release... Not a buy... maybe a sale... a good sale... like under 5 bucks..

more realistic story line

no

Would you listen to another book narrated by Kirsten Potter?

yes

Any additional comments?

lousy follow up to a good series the love scenes while being chased made little sense and when in pain just seemed like she was reaching to write anything very disappointed in this follow up book

Disappointed

The story is weak and getting weaker with each book
Inconsistent and does not make ant sense how they would be afraid to leave their equipment behind and therefore not shift and make it to safety.

meh, boring couple but adds to the series I guess

I felt the chemistry wasn't there like the other couples, I felt the H wasn't dominate enough for my tastes, I don't enjoy sweet, but others might like this book

Good, but meh...

Not the best in the series so far. At some points I got bored with the story. It wasn't as interesting as the other couples, but excited for Nick's story next!

Not worth the price

This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

If you like the fact that the two lead characters care more for having sex more than they do about anything or anyone else than this book is for you.

What was most disappointing about J. D. Tyler’s story?

I like Kristen Potter for the most part but not in this book. Her voice just didn't convey any other emotion than lust, but then that was all the book conveyed too. As far as story line goes it was ok but I couldn't get past some things and didn't finish it. I know it's a love/fantasy story but it was too much on lust. And the main male character was more concerned on if he came back from the op than if THEY came back.

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Kirsten Potter?

Lorelei King would be terrific!

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

disappointment

It was kinda disappointing.

I'm a big fan of paranormal romance books so the blurb for this book really had me excited to read it. That said, I don't find overly jellous leads interesting. And random space filler sex sceens at extreamly inappropriate times also annoys the heck out of me. For example, bad guys are hunting us but I just can't resist you so lets have hot sweaty & loud sex. Sceens like this make no sense and just bring me out of the story. I also don't like books where true love couples call each other trashy or derogitory names. Some may find it OK but I just think words like those take the romance out romance books.
All in all, I guess I'm just frustrated that I don't get to read the paranormal romance story that I thought I'd be able to read when I picked this book.
