So what if he's a bit older and usually regards a human female as dinner, not a dinner date? Yes, Roman Draganesti is a vampire, but a vampire who lost one of his fangs sinking his teeth into something he shouldn't have. Now he has one night to find a dentist before his natural healing abilities close the wound, leaving him a lopsided eater for all eternity.
Things aren't going well for Shanna Whelan either... After witnessing a gruesome murder by the Russian mafia, she's next on their hit list. And her career as a dentist appears to be on a downward spiral because she's afraid of blood. When Roman rescues her from an assassination attempt, she wonders if she's found the one man who can keep her alive. Though the attraction between them is immediate and hot, can Shanna conquer her fear of blood to fix Roman's fang? And if she does, what will prevent Roman from using his fangs on her...

Title sounded good, and the reviews too. Once I got into the story, it kept me going. Think I'll try book 2 of the series. Vampire owns a pharmacutical company that makes special flavored blood substitute products for vampires, and regular blood substitute products to save human lives. Intersting story.
I never read the print version so I can't compare
Had me laughing from the first chapter on---and the love scenes WOW just WOW
I always think giving the characters a voice gives them more life. I didn't read the print version, but I think that in this case I will always chose the audio over print
I found myself laughing on more than one occassion.
I really liked this book and have since put more titles from this author on my wish list.
The "Love at Stake" series is one of my favorites and I have read every book through the current, in come cases, mulitple times. I enjoyed the audio book version of "How to Marry a Millionaire Vampire", and while the narration was not totally perfect, it was very good. For the most part I enjoyed how Ms. Cypress was able to vary the character voices and her treatment of the various accents of the characters. I particurly like how she captured the characters of Gregori and Laszlo.
I do like kick butt chick vampire slayers
I loved the characters, interactions between the characters, romance and humour. Could not put it down
Never give up on love
Wow, this has to be the dumbest book I have listened to so far. I will listen to just about anything that is light and fun, fact or fiction, vampires or not. This means that my tolerance is fairly high for predictability, immature heroines, weak plots, etc. AS LONG as there is either well-written humor or a good story in there somewhere, chances are I'll enjoy it. This book, however, is intolerable. No actual humor, no characters to care about, no believable (or at least creative) plot, the whiniest protagonist ever and irritating overuse of the term "God's blood". How did this book get so many stars?!
I enjoyed this and found at some places it was pretty funny. Also I think the narrator think a great job on teh accents and characters. Would buy another book from Sparks again..
I am a passionate devourer of chocolate and books. I also listen to audiobooks and drink chocolate. When I die, I don't want to be embalmed!
I liked this book. At first, I thought the author was trying too hard to be funny and almost gave this book up in the first few chapters. Too many one liners. But after a few chapters, other than the constant use of God's Blood, it started moving along nicely. I am still undecided about reading any more in this series unless I hear something really good about the sequel.
I have been listening to audible books for 3 years this is the first book i didnt finish, and I have listened to alot of bad books, I dumped it 1 hr into it. Not only was it the most stupid plot ever, the narrator was AWFUL! I dont understand with all the narrators out there whoever is responsible for picking the readers with the stories would match up better than they did here.
interesting premise, but boring stereotypes that I'd heard a hundred times before.
narrator wasn't very good. it was difficult to yell when the scene changed because her character voices were not distinctive.
