Publisher's summary

So what if he's a bit older and usually regards a human female as dinner, not a dinner date? Yes, Roman Draganesti is a vampire, but a vampire who lost one of his fangs sinking his teeth into something he shouldn't have. Now he has one night to find a dentist before his natural healing abilities close the wound, leaving him a lopsided eater for all eternity.

Things aren't going well for Shanna Whelan either... After witnessing a gruesome murder by the Russian mafia, she's next on their hit list. And her career as a dentist appears to be on a downward spiral because she's afraid of blood. When Roman rescues her from an assassination attempt, she wonders if she's found the one man who can keep her alive. Though the attraction between them is immediate and hot, can Shanna conquer her fear of blood to fix Roman's fang? And if she does, what will prevent Roman from using his fangs on her...

Not my cup of tea, but it was okay

This was not my typical book. There was little to no steam, not really funny, and overall not enough action for me...yet I didn't turn it off so it gets four stars for keeping my interest somewhat.

Usually vampire books have a lot of action...but this is the exception. You may have read in the blurb that a vampire lost one of his fangs and he had to get it implanted before daybreak or it would be lost forever. The way he lost that fang was hysterical but the whole book was pretty slow. I guess some people would appreciate the PG-13 nature of the book but it was just too slow for me. There was not much action and very little hot scenes to fill in the gaps, but it did keep moving.

If you are looking for a nice sweet love story with unlikely people then get this book in the $4.95 sale, but not worth a credit.

God's Blood!

I liked this book. At first, I thought the author was trying too hard to be funny and almost gave this book up in the first few chapters. Too many one liners. But after a few chapters, other than the constant use of God's Blood, it started moving along nicely. I am still undecided about reading any more in this series unless I hear something really good about the sequel.
