When you land in hot water, swim for safety - or let the fire burn. An Out of Uniform Story.
Claire McKinley has just experienced every bride's nightmare. The groom is a no-show, and now she must face 500 guests alone. Furious and humiliated, Claire seeks help from the most unlikely candidate - her almost-brother-in-law, who promptly whisks her away to his apartment in San Diego, where she can recover her pride in peace and quiet. Dylan Wade is no fan of Claire's, but no way can he leave the jilted bride in her time of need. Bringing her home seems like a good idea - until he remembers his new roommate. Dylan's relationship with Aidan is... complicated. And with Claire thrown into the mix, life becomes even more... complicated. Claire is blindsided by her attraction not only to Dylan, but also to Aidan, a man she's just met. Soon they're caught up in an all-consuming sexual storm they can't fight even if they wanted to. Yet Claire wonders if it can last, or if she's just setting herself up for more heartache.
Warning: This audiobook is very dirty. Menage a trois and man-on-man dirty. Graphic-language and explicit-sex dirty. Basically? Dirty. You've been warned.

Narrator was not my favorite. Made the story difficult to listen to.
The story line. Couldn't finish it because of the narrator but bough the book.
No I really did not appreciate her performance.
No one they all seemed essential at least with what I got through.
Good Books Don't Promote Violence
Hotter than Ever, my first book by Elle Kennedy, was such a pleasant surprise - an erotic romance that was engrossing, realistic and humorous.
Claire was a strong, smart woman who almost marries an idiot - who hasn't been stupid about love. Dylan was the sexy Navy seal brother of the idiot who reluctantly rescued Claire from the church and took her home to San Diego. Aidan was Dylan's roommate & lover, torn between annoyance, jealousy and desire.
It was entertaining as 3 distinct personalities learned to live under the same roof and slowly became friends and more. Claire held her own with the men, even while dealing with the humiliation of being stood up on her wedding day. Even though both men were strong & hunky military men, neither was violent or overbearing.
My only complaint was how everyone, including Dylan, allowed the idiot brother (can't remember his name) to get away with being a complete jerk. The idiot, who had been cheating on Claire, took his girlfriend on their honeymoon, trash talked Claire to their friends & acquaintances, finally went to her boss with rumors about her personal life.
Dylan, who was trained to kill in many painful ways, seemed more interested in keeping the peace in his family. Why? I really wanted Claire to just strangle the idiot; I wanted Dylan and Aidan to help Claire bury the body, not worry about hurting his mother's feelings. That Dixie Chicks song about Earl kept running through my mind....
I love this book, this book was the best book I have listened to in a long time. The story was great, the narrator was great. oh my gosh if I can find a book another book like this one. it well-written and the sex scenes were incredible, loved it
The Knightmare Reads
This was a beautiful story of misunderstandings, prejudice, acceptance, devotion, and true love. I did not want it to end!
I love all genres of books. However, when I listen to audio books as I clean, garden, drive they are better with a lot of heat!
I have read all books in Elle Kennedy's, Out of Uniform, series. It is easily in my top five favorite series, and I am so very grateful to Elle for writing so many relationships into the series. I also appreciate that she shares news about the former couples that we have read about. Honestly and sincerely, this story, Hotter Than Ever, is indeed everything the title wants the story to live up to. There is a fair warning that the story is "dirty, with a ménage a trios relationship, dirty language, female on male, male on male, male, male, female, and, oh yeah, dirty!" This latest story that Elle Kennedy gives us in her perfect series of a group of close Navy SEALS and their love lives, clearly outshines the rest! Yet, the all have gotten five stars from me! The story begins with the wedding of Christopher Wade (brother of Navy SEAL, Dylan Wade) and his girlfriend, Claire McKinley. As the wedding is scheduled to begin within a matter of minutes, Chris decides to tell Dylan that he has no intention of going along with the wedding, and Dylan has to be the one to break the news to Claire and the guests. So angry with his older brother's cowardice, Dylan takes it upon himself to rescue Claire from the Bay Area out of reach from family, friends, co-workers and anyone else wanting a reason or offering sympathy. At the spur of the moment, Dylan whisks his former sister-in-law to be off to his home in San Diego where he lives with his Navy friend turned lover, that he shares a home with. Given a few days of grief, rest and much thought, Claire begins to acknowledge the attraction she is facing with both men. What happens after that includes personal stories, rejection and maybe even the "L" word. Which is the word I use to describe Hotter a Than Ever...LOVE!!
Katie McAble was good with the delivery of the story
Best hottest & most hard won true love ménage I can't even describe how much I enjoyed this story! The hesitation & confliction in most menages usually pushes one person out but this was a perfect balance & HOTHOTHOT
I really enjoy Elle Kennedy's books. She knows how to tell a really great story and keep the listeners attention. I look forward to listening to many more of her books!
this story has it all. Alpha males hot sex and a believable story line. Ladies this book will melt your sock off Lol.. Narrator did a decent job, worth a credit
I'm a solitary baker who craves a good romance book to keep me awake all night at my 3rd shift job.
I love the series.
The books are hot and sexy.
This one was not as enjoyable as the others because of the narration.
The narrator read with the enthusiasm of an action adventure book at times.
That would have been fine if this book was not an erotic romance.
The narrator for the other books in the series did a better job.
when it comes to a sexy scene I want a low seductive voice.
Katie McAble is just not cut out to do romance books.
This series is so hot and captivating. We'll written and the story is sensational. Did I mention hot??
I loved this series, it made a nice change from billionaire meets small town, possibly damaged, girl! This book is definitely hotter than ever covering a topic I've no experience in so I can't say how accurate it is but as a work of fiction it was seriously hot & one I return to regularly, as I do the whole series.
