Little Bit of Everything

This is the first Colleen Hoover book I read/listened to (yes, I know I'm way behind) but this one completely blew me away, so I will for sure be reading/listening to all the rest. The narrator did a fantastic job of bringing this story to life and making me believe that she was in fact Sky, talk about talent!

This one really does have a little bit of everything and the characters are a little flawed, each in their own way, but this makes them that much more relatable...Sky and Dean are simply characters in a book, but once you read this book, they will be so much more than characters created by an author for a story. There are so many curves and turns in this story that your head will be spinning and you'll be thinking good grief, what's going to happen next, what new secret is going to be revealed that will completely change Sky and/or Dean's life, especially when you consider that they are only high school students and not even adults yet. The pages of this book are filled with so many emotions you will be sucked in during the first chapter and stay there until the very last page.

Colleen Hoover slays me

Who ever introduced me to Colleen I want to say how much I hate you for that at the same time I love you. Hopeless had my emotions on this rollercoaster ride of my life. Good thing I was listening to this or I probably would have thrown the book a couple of times. You have to read Sky and Dean's story. OMG

Beautiful story

Once again I am soooo moved Colleen has a way of telling a story that gets right to your heart.

Slow moving, hang in there it gets better.

The first two hours or so I thought I was reading a book more suited for a teenage girl.
Not R-rated details of their physical relationship but it was repetitive. I read over and over how he lightly kissed her forehead or barely kissed her lips I got it. . It got to the point where I would fast forward. The storyline itself was very good. Small details in the beginning of the book came full circle to fit into the story. It wasn’t at all what I would have guessed. It kept me intrigued till the end.

Beautifully Heartbreaking

Man I really needed this book! It’s been forever since I’ve read a book that’s inflicted this many emotions and brought tears to my eyes. Skye and Holder meet unexpectedly but find they have more in common when they unravel their past. Be prepared for a heartbreaking story with an unexpected twist that will have your stomach in knots.
I absolutely love Colleen Hoover’s writing and can’t believe I’ve waited this long to read this book.

Woah!

Such a great book! The writing style is amazing. The shocks kept coming and it snowballed until the end. The only part I didn’t like as much was the depth of the romance scenes. But I don’t read romance that often so I’m sure that’s why. So happy I got the recommendation!

Was a slow burner to begin with but then all of a suddenly I couldn’t get enough. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Darkest Twists will Grip You

This book will bring you in. Big topics of sexual assault, childhood trauma, and kidnapping - I feel like there needs to be a trigger warning. There are many plot holes in this book that leave you wanting. I have so many questions and characters are pieced together too haphazardly with the exception of Sky and Holder. However, there are some seriously cringy moments in this book, where I was literally yelling at the audio book - too far, too far. But I will, give the author that this is one of her first books, (circa 2013), and as a former English it is not every day a book that surprises me. I just wish I would have been warned about the trauma experienced by the characters as a way to protect myself from how they opened me up too.

One of the best Books by Hoover

Colleen never lets me down. Every story she’s written amazes me. But this one.. this is by far one of my favorites !
