absolutely addicting!

I love Maya Banks Highlander series! Kirsten is one the best narrators, worth the credit or buying outright.

Excellent story!

The story is a bit predictable, especially after you've read the first book and I highly doubt it is anywhere near historically accurate, but it's a wonderful, feel good listen. It's well written and flows beatifully. You can't help but love the characters. And Kirsten Potter is as always fabulous!

Hero of her Life

I did not put this down, and since it's audio wireless headset went dead before the end, wired ear buds aren't the same. This was an intense read with several hero's and amazing characters. Romance, overcoming strife, strength and dedication. this is not a story to miss.

Enjoy maya banks

I have enjoyed other books by this author. This story was no different. Look forward to more stories from the Montgomery’s and Armstrong’s. One of my favorite readers is Kirsten potter. She did not disappoint with her reading of this series. She brought the story to life.

GREAT story and AMAZING narration!

I am officially a Kirsten Potter fan! She does an amazing job of narrating this story. The story too is great - highlanders, lairds, castles, passionate love, conflict and humor. I tore through the books in this series in a matter of weeks. Now, I am searching for more! Definitely worth a credit. Don't hesitate. You won't be disappointed.

Very emotional & satisfying

I a can't believe I became emotional & teared up. This was the 2nd book in series. Each book is a stand alone with characters from 1st book appearing in this book. Worth the credit.

wow!!

amazing !! I can't wait for the next book to come out. I am officially a huge Maya banks fan now. narrator was great and I felt involved...there are some narrators who just drone...no inflection. Kirsten Potter, she just makes the stories come alive.

Maya Banks always delivers a solid historical Scottish romance. I am always confident that I'll enjoy her story and really like her characters. Now I'm stuck waiting on the next book in the series.

The narrator was very good. She has narrated the other Scottish romance novels for Maya Banks and like Maya, she always delivers.

Yeah, but?.....

So, this was a decent story, but a touch more unbelievable than most. The big, glaring problem was that the issue of pregnancy was never addressed. If it had been, I would have been more accepting of the story line. It was an enjoyable ready but I was unable to suspend my disbelief.
