Publisher's summary

Breaking rules and breaking hearts.

Free-spirited Chloe lives life on the edge. Unlike her soon-to-be married sisters, she isn't ready to settle into a quiet life running their family's newly renovated inn. But soon her love of trouble - and trouble with love - draws the attention of the very stern, very sexy sheriff who'd like nothing better than to tame her wild ways.

Suddenly, Chloe can't take a misstep without the sheriff hot on her heels. His rugged swagger and his enigmatic smile are enough to make a girl beg to be handcuffed. For the first time, instead of avoiding the law, Chloe dreams of surrender. Can this rebel find a way to keep the peace with the straitlaced sheriff? Or will Chloe's colorful past keep her from a love that lasts... and the safe haven she truly wants in a town called Lucky Harbor?

Chloe+Sawyer= hot story

I've enjoyed this series a lot although I've read it out of order due to my issues with the different narrators used for each book. Chloe is the free spirited sister and the only one raised by their mother. Sawyer is the by-the-book sheriff and reformed bad boy. This is an opposites attract story.

This book is entertaining, sweet, hot and a great addition to the series. And this time the narrator El Suehyla is very good. she really compliments the story and makes the experience very enjoyable.

Funny and sweet

The story is good and the main female character is the kind of person that you cant help loving - funny, screwed up and reckless. Very good narrator.

Interesting heroine

Interesting story, funny and steamy. The health issues of the heroine are quite realistic and it helps to buy into the story

Take a second Look

What made the experience of listening to Head Over Heels the most enjoyable?

this one came together very very well. Reader very good for the lead female. and she did a bang up job on "Lance"...you just wanted to take him home. One can only hope they get a good friend like Lance

What was one of the most memorable moments of Head Over Heels?

when Chloe asks Lance to fish in her purse!!! Lance "if I find a T....."

Which scene was your favorite?

when Lance tells Chloe she must live her live to the fullest and she does not want to think about Lance leaving her.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

the pace was good on this one, Karen white reads the Animal series...great. It was a great shame that Suehyla El-Attar did not read this whole Lucky Harbor books, what a waste of ms Shalvis tatent for humor. Book 1 & 2 had such a bad reader, I only purchased #2 for $4.95 & that has been a waste. If you buy just one Lucky Harbor, get this one as it will lift your heart.

Any additional comments?

Ms Shalvis writes with humor, and a bad reader can just kill the timing and make the book just plain Blahhh

Terrible naration, boring story, bad writing.

Disappointed. I was expecting more from this because it was recommended by Robyn Carr, but after two chapters I turned it off. #refundwouldbenice

Much better with a different Narrator

Wow what a difference the narration makes Story is
predictable but sweet. Hopefully in the next book the diameter will be the same not the one in the first two

Not a disappointment!

I struggled with the prior books in the series; I now realize it was all with the narration. This book was great; I loved the humor incorporated!

I wanted to like the series, as it was highly recommended. I’m so glad I did and am excited to continue the remainder of the lucky harbor books!

A feel good romance you won't want to end!

Head Over Heels is a feel good romance you won't want to end! Chloe is my spirit sister, between her issues with the asthma, or the trouble she gets into with her best friend, she embodies so much strength. Sawyer is all things swoon-worthy and perfectly embodied into the local sheriff. He can bring out the handcuffs anytime! Chloe is the most free spirited out of the three sisters, but I credit that to her mother. While she seems flighty to those around her, she just wants somewhere to belong, but the odds are against her in this book. I loved following Chloe on her journey, and Sawyer will sweep you off your feet with his tender thoughtfulness. I love this series and am so glad there's more to come!

Man looking for Heroin in romance

Why are men always so much more experienced than women? How do men know what too do? Why should a guy fight for a girl who doesn't want him? As a man who's mother tought him to never ever take hormones before a ladies feelings and never seen between the lines unless it was spelled out in a romance novel.?. You have to know her feelings before you can act. Always treat every woman as a lady all the time because they are women.
