Say something about yourself!
I wish I knew this had a 3rd book now I'm left hanging for who knows how long. I hate waiting for books that have cliff hangers as they say to them. Why can't audible or whoever note this to the readers. By the time the 3rd book comes out I will have forgotten this but for now I'm peeved about this. Love the story and the narrators are great.
Spoiler alert. Just one part was to unrealistic for me. It doesn't take weeks let alone a week to find out if you are pregnant or not. They know in the same day if not the next. I'm sure other women reading this were chomping at the bit like me over this.
I really like this series so far. I am about to download the final book. Yeah!
The story of Lucian and Lia is so sweet, so sexy, so sensitive... They are so good for each other. This is one of my very favorite book series.
Unfortunately, the narrators are not at all fitting for the intensely sexy characters. Sean Crisden has a whiny voice that sounds more like a high school A/V squad Vice President than an insanely sexy, rich businessman. Lucy Malone has a pretty voice but sounds a little too mature to be our young, innocent, college girl, Lia. But, since the story is amazing and the writing flawless, as all Sydney's books are, I muddled through. Can't wait for Mended to be released on Audio later this year.
The second book in this series had a great continuation of the painful romance between Lucian and Lia a big improvement on the audibook as well Sean Crisden did more of the narrating and this made the story more enjoyable to listen too, now the only problem is the huge cliff hanger that it left until the release of the third book.
one of them rare books when you just don't won't it to end this is my 3rd read now that the next part is out just love this book.
