I really thought this would not be worth my time, but found it to be one of my favorites! It is SO true, and tells the everyday story of a real life story! I found it to almost be mine and my husbands situation-playing out in front of me! Recommend this book!

too short

it was ok. but it was way too short and feel I wasted a credit.

Pleasantly surprised for this genre & price!!

I wasn't expecting too much from this book considering the genre & price. I have to say that the story was surprisingly insightful, while at the same time providing some very hot scenes!!!
Perhaps because I could relate to the main character (married to the same man for many years, looking to "spice things up" between the sheets, etc) the story sounded pretty authentic to me.
The protagonist finds herself looking to push some new sexual boundaries, but she's afraid that her husband my react negatively and might reject her. As you might expect, he's more willing to be convinced to try new things than she realizes...
Just a quick, short, hot story that provides some insight into what seems to be a pretty common situation for couples these days: what happens when we come to have different expectations and the consequences of not being able to properly communicate them to our partner...Cheers & Happy reading!!!

Most realistic book I've listen to!

This short book was reviewed by someone I follow and for $4 I figured why not! So glad I did! I imagine something similar has happened across America with the advent of "mommy porn", aka 50 shades.

This is the story of a happily married normal couple, they have 2 kids, they live on a cops salary, they have been married for 15 years and everything is normal....until the wife reads an interesting book! It isn't like she has been a prude or gone without but her husband and her have nice normal sex....but what's in the book turns her on and she feels weird about that fact. She had a conservative upbringing so in her mind she shouldn't like the idea of being tied up, or anything but missionary sex...this leads to guilt which leads to her husband thinking he is doing something wrong or maybe she is unhappy or heaven forbid is she having an affair?

Can she tell him about her darkest forbidden fantasies before she looses him forever...and will he accept her or think she is twisted?

Nice book, worth the $4! Go for it!!!!

A nice short story highlighting the need for Communication and honesty with your partner. Add a little hot sex and intrigue and this story was quite good. I enjoyed the narration by Lola Holiday. Good book for the price and a happy quick listen.

It is between a married couple and the exploration of sex [into kinky, erotic] is between a married couple.

What does Lola Holiday bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

She is a great narrator...I don't read a lot - love listening and narration can make or break a book.

It's a short, mildly erotic story. Adult themes...not for 'vanilla' romance readers.

Stop yelling at me!

Can’t stand this nervous nelly sort of leading lady. Why is the narrator yelling all the time? Why does the leading man have an accent that sounds like an ancient southern man? Colonel Sanders ain’t sexy. And seriously, why the constant yelling?

Some Things Should Stay Forbidden

This book and story line had potential, but overall this book wasn’t for me. The voice wasn’t all that great either.

AWFUL

I've never ever written a bad review but...... this book was a waste of time. Can't even believe I wasted 3+ hours. I listen to 5-8 books a month and most are pretty steamy but the story line on this one was lame. Don't waste a credit

Very Boring and hard to follow

Struggled to finish and follow along. I did not like the readers voice and the storyline did not grab my attention at all.
