Only the 2nd book I've listened to

So much easier to listen to the book than read it. Encouraging me to get out and walk so I can listen to it.

Fifty Shades to a completely different level!!

Would you listen to Fifty Shades Darker again? Why?

Yes, as this for me was the best book of the three.

What other book might you compare Fifty Shades Darker to and why?

You cannot really compare this book to any other as this issomething completely different. This book can be seen as one of those epic love stories, but with a twist.

Which character – as performed by Becca Battoe – was your favorite?

Christian Grey.......although I was not really fond of her accent when reading Christian's lines.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Yes, when Christian fell down onto his knees and wanted to be Ana's submissive. The whole conversation that took place was really well written and this really grabbed my attention.

Any additional comments?

Really good book and I will listen to the entire series again and again.

Male voice for Christian needed

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

Yes, because I listened as I worked out at the gym. I was curious.

How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?

Not sure, but I was most assuredly looking for something more. Perhaps more character development for Jason Taylor and Jose Rodriguez. I think more expansion on thier roles would make the story more interesting.

BTW I love her inner goddess! Don't we all have one? The way she pole vaults and pirouettes, grimaces etc. was adorable. I could totally relate to that. The incorporation of Ana's conscience as a separate character was simply genius.

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Becca Battoe?

A male w/ a deep sensual voice for the character of Christian. Perhaps Dion Graham or Morris Chestnut. Becca was fine for the female roles.

Do you think Fifty Shades Darker needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?

Yes, I'd like to see what happens later and how and if thier relationship continues to develop. Could Ana sexuality mature such that she becomes bored w/ Fifty?

Any additional comments?

By this point in the trilogy, Christian and Ana are a solid couple. She has peeled away his steely, Dom persona and captured his heart. The steamy, erotic sex that these books are known for has now become redundant to me. To the author's credit, writing about so much S&M sex between the same two people who have so much sex and keep it hot all the while, has to be extremely challenging. Given the enormity of that task, she did a decent job. The story kept me interested enough to continue because there was just enough drama and depth to make me want to see what would happen next. I listened to it on audio and I must say, I didn't enjoy having it narrated by the same female voice all the way thru. This totally ruined the sexy for me. Hearing a female do the voice of Christian Grey, kills the fantasy.
