It scratched an itch with dull nails

Yes, after the first book, I was eager to hear the second book, and it was good although not as good as the first. In my opinion the whole trilogy could have been put into 1 book, and saved the excitement you get from the first one.
By the end of this one, I only went on to listen to the third "Fifty shades freed" because I just wanted a explaination as to why it was even necessary since while this book was good, you get tired of the same wording and mindless thinking of Anastasia. Well anyway, I won't spoil it, but if you enjoyed the first book for the exciting and kinky fu#kery LOL then expect pretty much the same but by now you aren't a virgin anymore.

Steele Gray

Would you listen to Fifty Shades Darker again? Why?

Relucantly yes but if there was a different Narrarator absolutely. Fabulous book but the miss pronounced words & poor narration made it difficult to really enjoy. Buy the book instead.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Christian, he's a challenge

How did the narrator detract from the book?

Everything, her tone of voice, miss pronounced words. Everything!

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

Steele Gray

Any additional comments?

Rerelease in audible form with different narration. Natalie Ross & Phil Gigante would be fabulous!

The best of the series.

I liked fifty shades, but darker is way better. Also, the series could end happily with this book. This book is the meat of the story. You finally get to know Grey. The scenes are better, the characters more flushed out, and the love is tangible. This book has all that the other two don't, mainly a storyline. The first book is all set up. It's confusing at times. The characters aren't developed enough to make the story stand alone. Actually, Grey is a better version of FSoG. Christian's POV is definitely what the first book needed. You don't need to read the third book, unless you like stories that go on way too long with nothing new to add to the overall storyline.
