Good Times

Where does Fifty Shades Darker rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

It ranks in the same category of the Twilight Saga, and the Hunger Games. It is an easy read. Highly entertaining, but not emotionally wrenching, as more in depth novels can be.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Uh....Mr. Grey. Elevator. Nuff said.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes

Any additional comments?

Fun, sexy, easy read.

pleasantly surprised

I did not have high hopes for this series. I only started reading book to because I watched the movie, and needed to satisfy my curiosity. I must admit that this storyline was quite entertaining and the characters were well written.

Darker is more romatic!

Would you listen to Fifty Shades Darker again? Why?

I love this whole series and would listen all over again.

What did you like best about this story?

In this book Anna and Christian fall deeper in love than just having the carnal sex relationship, which is dont get me wrong great too.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

Too hot for T.V.

Any additional comments?

I do not understand why everyone rags about the commentary because I believe she does a fine job with this book.

Wish I had just read the actual book

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

If you were interested to find out where the story goes after Book 1 then yes I would but I would recommend reading it vs. listening to the audio version (for reasons I'll get into below). Overall I was disappointed with Book 2 vs. Book 1. But the audio version made it worse because the narration of this audio book was horrible. Her attempt at a masculine voice just ruined the visual of Christian's character for me. It was corny and not sexy. And the most annoying part was probably her narration of each and every email....date, time and signature block, including initials. For.Ever.Email. I didn't need to hear Christian's signature block 50 times. This is one of those books that could have been an amazing audio book with duel narrations from both a male and female.

great follow up to book 1

watching Christian and Ana continue to grow individually and as a couple is sometimes an AAAWWWW moment, sometimes a laughing moment, sometimes a get your tissue moment and finally sometime you just want to give Christian a Gibbs slap to knock some sense into him. I couldn't help but love these characters.
