Better Than The First Book!

The second book is better than the first book. More relationship stuff! Very enjoyable!

Story Getting a Little Tiresome

Would you try another book from E. L. James and/or Becca Battoe?

Yes, I kind of have to because I have to finish the series and know what happens. But in all seriousness I would do it anyway because I did truly enjoy reading E. L. James's books and listening to Battoe read them.

Would you recommend Fifty Shades Darker to your friends? Why or why not?

Probably not. However, it is not due to the book's quality but due to my friends immaturity. I truly do not believe they would understand and/or comprehend the book's overall message. It's not pornography but a complicated and complex romance story.

What did you like about the performance? What did you dislike?

What I liked and disliked about the performance was that Battoe was simply the perfect voice to play Ana. Lots of times her voice annoyed me however that was due to me visualizing Ana annoying me. When I envision Ana I envision this voice or Battoe's voice. Innocent, sweet, squeaky, a little annoying, shy, and very girlish (which I know sounds weird but true).

Could you see Fifty Shades Darker being made into a movie or a TV series? Who should the stars be?

I couldn't until it actually came out, well the first one at least. I would have to say who they chosen to portray the characters are fairly accurate or good choices. I really don't have that much to say about them.

What made the experience of listening to Fifty Shades Darker the most enjoyable?

I loved how the story picked up right from where the first book Fifty Shades of Grey ended.
I found the second book so hard to put down because you are so drawn to the characters and how their relationships evolve.

Have you listened to any of Becca Battoe’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I have not listened to any other of Becca Battoe's performances other than the Fifty Shades Trilogy.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes if I would have been able to listen to this all in one sitting I would have.

The only thing that would have made this better is if the part of Christian Grey was actually spoken by a man.

i used to read a fair amount and love this it all.

I used to read a fair amount of books but after all these years never found ones that crosses my mind. I was at my cousins house alone for about twenty mins and I opened up the first book and I will as hooked tgat very min. juat amazing and I know in my heart that these books are going to be alot letter then the movie just because you become one with the books ans gather more inner feelings.

Definitely better than the first book. More suspense and excitement. I was so into this book that I finished in less than a week and I'm a very busy person

Better than the first one

It answers a lot of questions from the first book. I love the narrator. She's great! A really great book!
