Daunted by the singular tastes and dark secrets of the beautiful, tormented young entrepreneur Christian Grey, Anastasia Steele has broken off their relationship to start a new career with a Seattle publishing house. But desire for Christian still dominates her every waking thought, and when he proposes a new arrangement, Anastasia cannot resist.
They rekindle their searing, sensual affair, and Anastasia learns more about the harrowing past of her damaged, driven, and demanding Fifty Shades.
While Christian wrestles with his inner demons, Anastasia must confront the anger and envy of the women who came before her, and make the most important decision of her life.

"In a class by itself." (Entertainment Weekly)
I would recommend because it's an interesting read.
I've never actually read anything like this.
Becca Battoe gives a believable performance as a naive inexperienced 22 year old.
I enjoyed listening every evening on my way home from work.
Once I got passed how juvenile some of the writing was I started to like the characters. It is very campy and unreal but I do like to "get away" so I actually like the book.
I am a busy sports mom listening to romance only. If the narrator is good and it has a decent plot, I will find it enjoyable.
Yes. The change in Christian is so sweet and the way he cherishes her makes you want to read it over and over. I've listened to it at least 3 times since downloading. I'm not crazy about the Becca Battoe, but I am crazy about the story.
Bared To You and Reflected To You, but I don't like them nearly as much as Fifty.
I don't know what the tag line would be, but I will be first in line to get a ticket.
You will either love or hate this series. I am definitely on the love love love side. I enjoy this story so much. Christian's change and Ana's maturity. I have really enjoyed this story.
No, they're equal. I just have more time to listen, then to read.
I have a 2 - 2/12 hour roundtrip commute Monday through Friday so these audiobooks are great and make my commute enjoyable and speed by!
I like listening because it allows me to create a "movie" in my head and E L James did a great job of character development throughtout the the entire series.
Yes, I like the way the story unfolds and the detail of the characters.
The time in Aspen when Christian finally relaxed and showed a side of him we hadn't seen up to that point.
Fifty Shades of Grey...Anna's Awakening
Really enjoyed the Epilogue as well...looking forward in time.
didn't want to take my ear buds out until I absolutely had to
Grey and Anna
proposal in boathouse
After the first book I was looking forward to hearing the second book. Unfortunately, by the second book I got sick of the mannerism of the performer (possibly in the book, but still irritating). And seriously, this girl is supposed to be 'new' to sex, yet this book is a story around sexual escapades and I am sorry, a woman is not going climax with her guy everytime.
The author is good at cliff hangers at the end of the books, but I have no interest in hearing the third book.
Yes. Don't want a perfect girl and perfect guy. There is no such thing.
Her voice really irritated me after awhile
The main characters are very shallow
Done with this author. She may be making $$$ hand over fist, but not from me. Fun to hear the first one because it was so different than anything I had ever heard and it is fun to know what people are talking about when they say "fifty shades of crazy" etc. but just a bit too much fluff for me.
Listening was a pleasure, this book was very engaging. I listened in the car, while I worked and during busy time at home.
This book to me was better than the first.....It focused more on the relationship instead of just the sex. It also helped that the narrator's voice didn't sound like a 13 year old child. The vulnerability of Christian was easier to see, and he almost seemed like a real human being. Not the best book I have read all year, and definately not worth all of the hype, but still a good read!
Yes, because I can listen to it while driving :)
Haven't read anything like this yet
I think that her voice fits Ana's character very well bringing out her emotions and thoughts
It made me almost cry when on the part of Christian being weak at Ana's feet and asking her to marry him
Still hot and sexy, but also deeply emotional and touching book
Yes, i loved it..nice to listen while walking
Maybe twilight saga series
The characters and how real she makes them
The birthday party confrontation
