Unforgettable characters, sizzling romance, and riveting suspense: These are the trademarks of beloved author Judith McNaught. With millions of devoted fans and 10 New York Times best sellers to date, McNaught is a writer whose work just gets better with each new novel - and Every Breath You Take is the book listeners have been waiting for. Returning to the lavish Chicago setting of her popular novel Paradise, and revisiting some of that book's characters as well, this story will captivate in inimitable Judith McNaught style.
High atop a snow-covered hill, the stately old Wyatt mansion is perched like a crown, its stone spires pointing upward, its stained glass windows glowing like colorful jewels. Such opulence means success and, surely, happiness. But on the eve of wealthy philanthropist Cecil Wyatt's 80th birthday, all the money in the world won't bring back his missing grandson, William Wyatt. The only thing for certain: Foul play was involved.
The family, the police, the media - all have tried in vain to discover the young man's fate. Now suspicion has turned shockingly toward William's own half-brother, the rather distant and enigmatic Mitchell Wyatt.
Kate Donovan never dreamed that a chance romantic encounter on a tropical island paradise would tag her as a suspect in a high-society murder case. But after Kate tangles with the darkly charismatic Mitchell Wyatt, she finds herself cast in a shadow of guilt and mistrust. As the Chicago police tighten their net, it will take all of Kate's ingenuity to clear her name. With her calm, cool wit, and the help of a man who may or may not be a dangerous catch, Kate vows to claim the life and love she desires.

One of my all time favorite books. I enjoyed the audio edition but there were some repeat sentences. The print edition I have has some additional content that I wish would have been included in the audio
Just love the characters
More Judith McNaught books please!!!
Continuous Action, layers
The chemistry at the start. The reuniting at the end.
I truly believed there were more than one person reading.
Chemistry in the real world.
I've yet to read a Judith McNaught book that I did not absolutely love. Filled with actions not a bunch of descriptions that are detailed to death.
Audio-fiction ADDICT !
This book was purely MAGICAL ! This is my first Judith's book . I can not believe how extraordinary her writing is! I love a book that makes your heart ache, those are rare in the new contemporary books.
This is one of my top audiobooks ever!
I am sooo disappointed that there are no more Judith mcnaught's books on audible !!!! PLEASEEEEEEEE audible more Judith books I beg you :(
This is a great story that is well read.
This is my first Laura Dean book
It is the kind of story that makes your heart hurt and end happily ever after.
Was hoping for more of Matt and Merideth, was a bit disappointed there.
Judith McNaught never disappoints! Lovely romance to lose oneself in for hours of entertainment. Susan Denaker is a great reader that carries one through the story effortlessly.
From the perspective of plot, depth of characters, this book ranks high. Overall performance ranks very low, painful listening.
YES! Pace much too slow; made listening to the book frustrating. In summary -- a great book, but terrible narration. The abridged version had a much more suitable narrator; please go back to that person.
the story line wasn't bad and the performance was great but the book was kinda drawn out and extra wordy.
Sassy dialogue, humor, and a great reader are important to me.
my 3rd listen as I write this review. I am a long time fan of Ms McNaught. She is a classic romance writer. However, her work is not published unabridged so you take what you can get from the publishers. Not sure why her work is not recorded full length as they a classic to read.
when Mitchell first meets his aunt in the library and when he meets his son for first time.
Do not miss it, you will go back to both parts I can assure you.
Denaker does a great Irish accent. AKA Madison Cole. Ok, Scottish accent, Sizzle. However, not my fave reader, but this is a great story not too be missed by you. This is not author's best, as she has so many to chose from, Whitney my Love etc. but this one is recorded and a must buy.
Enjoy, as this is the only full story of Ms McNaughts I can find. All others are the short version. Such a wast of great listening time to not have her work fully recorded. A great biz person should get on it and get them all recorded.
This is one of my favorite books, I have read it so many times I can quote from chapters.. Unfortunately there are chapters missing from this audible edition and some of the lines were were repeated.
I love the travel the characters Matt and Meredith & Julie and Zach make an appearance
She is fine but need to pay attention, repeats her lines throughout the book
do more Judith McNaught books
