Delightful!
Davina Porter’s narration made this story come alive! As an avid Outlander fan, I appreciated her voices and entertaining inflection for each character. I hope she reads ALL the books in the Outlander series! Bravo!

The ending was disappointing.
I did not like the was the daughter was written. she was as a person and very disrespectful to her Father Jammie., and for a historian her boyfriend didn't seem to know what he was doing back in time.

Davina Porter is amazing as always.
I enjoyed this book as I have all of them but I get frustrated with the communication between characters - every time someone doesn't finish a sentence or decides not to communicate important information to another character, the reader can almost see the coming comedy of errors and disaster that will ensue as a result. It seems to be a common thread in the stories and if course the resulting disasters are the meat of the book, but after a while it feels like a bad sitcom with everyone running around to correct a problem that wouldn't have happened if only they'd communicated better.

Wonderful series but room for improvement
What made the experience of listening to Drums of Autumn the most enjoyable?
Gabaldon's sweeping epic is full of surprises. Her creativity and attention to detail make each of the books unique and exciting. I especially appreciate her continuity in managing so many characters and so many relationships over so much time.
Any additional comments?
Davina Porter is the voice of Claire and I adore her in the role. This book - and the series overall - would benefit greatly by a larger cast.

More Lord John Gray please
Love the series so far. I really liked the "partners in crime" duo of Lord John and Briana. I'll have to branch out and download his series next.
