Great Book to listen to

This book is about the Devil Jacks and Reapers fighting and hating each others for 20 years. Liam (Hunter) Blake knows he will do anything for his club. Em was the presidents daughter of the Reapers and so Hunter was told to get to know Em and so he started to texting her and calling her so he can found out things about her and the club. Em has always lived her life in the shadow of the Reapers but she wanting to live a new life. But now is the time to buy the Book and find out what happens to the people int the book.

it was alright

I love it. the romance was heartfelt and memorable. this guy, I would not mind having as my old man. a girl needs a man who does mind fighting for her every once in a while.

Love this series! It is perfect for a bad boy MC fix! Definitely reccomend to all!

A modern Romeo and Juliet

Joanna Wylde has done it again with Devil's Game, book three in her Reapers MC series. Though this book can be read as a stand alone, I would highly recommend reading the entire series, or at least book 2, as the beginning overlaps with events from that book, but it is told from two new characters perspectives; so there is a whole new twist to the story you thought you once knew, if you've read book 2.

What I love most about this book is that since the beginning of the series, I have learned about Em Hayes from the start. She is the daughter of Picnic Hayes, the President of the Reapers MC in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. She is smart, feisty and is fed up with being told what to do. As an MC princess, she has been forced to lead a sheltered life, well as sheltered as she could be aside from the Reapers club. With her dad as the President, she might die an old spinster if he has his way. Sure she has had some boyfriends, but no one has liked her enough to stand up to her father. Em has decided to take matters into her own hands.

Liam "Hunter" Blake has hated the Reapers MC for as far as he can remember. It was ingrained into him since he was a prospect for his MC club, the Devil's Jack. He will put nothing before his club or his brothers. When he has an order, he will dutifully follow it. This includes taking advantage of Picnic Hayes' innocent daughter. The only problem is, from the moment he sees Em, he wants her like he's wanted no other.

This is a modern day twist on Romeo and Juliet. Their story begins in book 2 of this series, but you have no idea what you are in store for, until you see the twists and turns through their eyes. Joanna Wylde has written a book full of suspense, combustible chemistry and memorable characters. I found myself burning through the pages to find out what would happen next. I love the way she intricately weaves and develops her characters across the individual books as well as the entire series. She has me immediately one-clicking to find out what will happen next to the characters I have quickly grown to love.

PS - The audio version of this book only enhanced Joanna's brilliance as an author. I would highly recommend listening to this story as well. Tatiana Sokolov and Todd Haberkorn do an excellent job of narrating this great story!

I've seen mixed reviews about this read, but personally I think this is the best in the series so far! Lots of action, lots of ups and downs, and the chemistry between Hunter and Em is hot in a way that is innocent and carnal at the same time. The only thing I regret is that the story didn't allow for more interaction between past Reaper characters, ie. girls night out. Otherwise, it was funny, sexy, and interesting throughout. Can't wait for her next.

Gosh I like the male lead character in this book. He is real and handsome and completely sexy. I wrote the following review for the 2nd book in the series by mistake but it was meant for this book.

I found the love story refreshing and the sex scenes were some of the most original I've seen and I've read hundreds of romance books, so that's something coming from me. One of the hottest scenes was the one involving handcuffs. I got so hot I thought I would expire on the spot. Phew.

The male characters are not the classiest bunch with the constant cussing and crude language but the story and love seems real and well expressed and written. I truly enjoyed this book.

Reapers Mc number 1

Best Mc series out there. JoAnna Wilde does a great job at keeping you interested in the MC, not the girls that break the riders.
