The child he didn't know he had...
Andrew Yates has come to a decision: It's time to stop sowing those oats and start a family. But searching for a bride isn't as simple as he'd hoped, and many of the respectable women of his acquaintance feel...lacking. Then beautiful, feisty Wilhelmina "Billie" Wells arrives at the family ranch with a toddler in her arms, claiming Drew is the father!
The woman he didn't know he loved...
Billie had no choice but to show up at Destiny in search of Drew. For the sake of their child, she's willing to leave him with his father so the boy can have a better life, but then, before she can blink, she's saying "I do" in front of a preacher in a marriage of convenience. All Billie and Drew have in common is the heat that brought them together, but can their sizzling passion lead to an everlasting love?

Thomas Penny is a great narrator. I enjoy every book that he narrates. He covers accents well, and he can really bring a story to life.
I really loved the fight scene. Billie was a character that had so much depth, and I am so glad that Ms. BJ decided to tell her story.
Andrew and Billie actually reminded me of people I know. Their story was very enjoyable. I liked the interactions between Drew and his son too. There were a lot of good components to this book.
I thought this book was a great edition to the series. I was very pleased with the ending. I normally read everything that Ms. Jenkins writes. This was my first Audible listen so I had to get used to it but once I did I thoroughly enjoyed the ride!
Romance Novel Lover
I wasn't a huge fan of the first book in this series Destiny's Embrace. I bought this immediately when I saw Thomas Penny as the narrator. Please please Mr Penny keep reading. At any rate this book grabs your attention from the very beginning. I find myself smiling because this book reminds me of her great awesome writing like Topaz, Taming of Jessi Rose which are my all time favorites. Great job. Love it
Traveling therapist listening to AUDIBLE books while driving to far areas. Also host/produce radio show on KGLP 91.7 on staying positive!!
I loved the main character was at peace with being a whore. She didn't let ANYONE shame her. She was a strong woman. I loved the story and the mother -in-law. The characters in this story were very entertaining.. Good job.
I adore stories and love to live in the tales I read!
I wasn't certain that I would actually like the story, however it flowed nicely along. I will more than likely read the next tale of this family.
This was a great book find a loser love finding Wi-Fi and in Chal the phone a lot with women at once was a whore someone you enjoyed being with finding yourself pregnant find a new home after being threatened and I'm unloading except you for who you are great great sex I want to more I really enjoyed this book great book all three in the series was great when it was not perfect
I have been in lone with Beverly's historical romances since I received my first book in 2010 which was Topaz. I love Thomas Penny as the narrator. The only reason he didn't get 5 stars is because he should learn where the accent goes over the Spanish words other than that it would be a five. The story is so touching and no matter her background she wins him over. I read the book and as soon as the audible version came out I listen to it all over again. Can't wait for the third story. Happy reading!!!!!
I love must of Ms. Jenkins historical romance novels. Some of the narrates not so much. This one had multiple plots as do must of her books, With that said it was an easy page turner. her books are filled with romance as well as education... this is not a bargain but a really good buy. I would love to see more of her book on audio. Thomas Penny did a great job as well.
No, I would consider them the same. The narrator was pretty good.
The inflections in his voice! Loved them
It was good read not to sappy for me.
