Another Top Notch Story

I will continue to mention and applaud Dianne Duvall for doing such a phenomenal job with this series. usually stand alone series have me bored. you never see past characters and the outline of the story is usually copy and paste. that is not the case here. All the characters are unique and the over arching plot keeps you engaged. But that doesn't mean that it takes away from the love story taking place on the page. The more books you read the more you get to know all the characters not just the couple you are watching fall in love. details you maybe thought were unimportant in book 2 are being brought back up to further the story. it is truly a beautiful thing to read.

Now for this story. this book follows Etienne and Christa. Etienne is out hunting per usual and sees a group of vampires following a obviously drunk young women. just as he's about to intervene and stop the vampires to his surprise the women( Christa) turns around and attacks the vampires. easily taking out 3 of them. they are then joined by 8 more vampires. as they are fighting them off she is injured. when the fighting is done she jumps in her brother car to take off.

the meeting of these two is so unique to me. its one thing i truly love about this series the way every one meets is unique they are all not the same and the powers that are being introduced are not all the same.

i honestly love this series it is quickly becoming one of my favorite series. i cant wait to dive into the next book Zack and Lisette. maybe we will get more answers about Seth since him and Zack are "cousins"

so this is my second time reading this book didn't realize I missed so much in the first time I read it so I'm glad I went back through it honestly I'm in love with the series I think it is the best and I absolutely love Seth and David!!!!

Between borrowing these books from my daughter and buying others and finally buying this audible to see what it was like to read and listen at the same time I read them all and loved every one of them.
The narrator was fantastic. I could listen to her read all day.
The characters were wonderful, especially Seth and David.
I just can't wait until the next book comes out!!!

Always a Happily EVER-AFTER

Love this paranormal romance series AND ever-after means ever after. I would like to make a request... Ms. Dianne would you please write more than one a year. With a touch of crazy in-love stocking they made their gifts work in harmony. However, there was a climax without an ending.

Spoiler Alert!
I really did like this story, being able to see both sides of the story is a plus, but in this one more so than the others we were giving different points of views. Zack was found out and now he's in deep trouble, Seth is so mad that he's not seeing or thinking clearly, and everyone else are still left in the dark. I was Seth would tell everyone about Zack that way he could get feedback from everyone else but I wouldn't want to put Amy in that position.

Just keeps getting better and better

This series just keeps getting better and better! I loved Krysta. She is perfect for Etienne. (Spelling?) Dianne is such a talented author. I think one of the things that makes her my favorite is how she always seems to bring in all the characters from the previous books. And there’s always such an intense action packed story throughout. This one was so unique because Krysta can see auras and this helps her fight vampires. Her brother and parents are gifted. Her brother is a healer and in college to be a doctor. I can’t wait to see him in the future. I hope Dianne had more of the parents in future books also.
