I still find the electric cars and food discussion annoying, but the storyline and overall mysterious origins of everyone keep me coming back. multiple storylines being intertwined at times was also better in this one.

Another wonderful story by Diane Duvall in The Immortal Guardians series! Each of these books have strong male and female characters. the narration is excellent.

A great series to read

AWESOME

I simply love this series. Some have compared it to Black Dagger Brotherhood, but I think that Duvall has set this series apart from all the others. Her characters are original, diverse and believable.
In this installment Etienne stumbles across Krista, a human vampire hunter. He can't keep her out of his mind and stalks her till he falls for her. It's a great story and we get plenty on the other characters as well. There's lots going on and I stayed interested and engaged the entire time.
Kristin Potter is an excellent narrator. I will give this an adults only rating and worth the cash or credit.

Another Hit

Wow the Guardians keep getting better. But what can I say the author knows how to spin TALE. A brother and sister team who are fighting vampires alone encounter one of the Guardians and even though they think he is a vampire as well he is helping her to defeat the true vampires. What's a girl to do? Learn to trust him or kill him. So many options so few clear answers until.... But I don't like spoilers. I like to tell you enough to be interested. You should be interested. If you have not read or listened to all of the books in the series what are you waiting for. Go get them. Use those credits that you are holding on to. This series is worth it.

I love the narration and the story line was hotter than ever! What a great series = ) I’m anticipating what’s to come since it left off at such an interesting plot point…

Awesome! A must read series.

Etienne has always been one of me favorite characters. Krysta brings the modern world to the group and Etienne handles it well. True he isn't as old as some of the others but the connection is electric.

The Best So Far

Krysta and Etienne are wonderful together. I have to say they are definitely my favorite immortal couple so far. I laughed the entire time. Talk about made for each other, they certainly are!!!! 😍😍😍

I love this series

I really do love this series , some books I like better than others .. my favorite 2 are Roland and Zak's stories .. I looked so forward to this one and I love it except for Christa I didn't like her arrogance and selfishness..

if I had this hot french speaking , sweet guy whew wee ! But sometimes I don't know how he put up with her .. I still liked the book it's just one I don't listen to as much as I relisten to Roland and Zak's ..
