Publisher's summary

Race Spencer leads a lonely life out west, until he stumbles upon Rebecca Morgan, the only survivor of a terrifying robbery. Sweeping the helpless beauty into his powerful arms, Race carries her away to safety. Rebecca's life is no longer in danger, but her virtue is decidedly threatened. Race arouses feelings in her she never knew she could experience, especially toward such a hardened man. The pulse-quickening tale of a former gunslinger and the earthly angel who falls into his lap, Cherish is compelling from beginning to end. A sparkling narration by Ruth Ann Phimister enriches this story of two lost souls searching for new beginnings and finding one another.

New York Times best-selling author Catherine Anderson is considered one of the world's greatest romance novelists. A nine-time winner of the Kiss Award, her books are popular and critical successes.

Could have been half the time!

I did not like this book. I read it through to see if it would get better. There were some ok moments but God, if the heroine could be any more stupid and week, and the hero more wise and powerful. How could the author write of a woman so pitiful.

Save Yourself the time and money.

I had such high hopes for this book. I like Catherine Anderson books, mostly dated after this one, but this was just bad. I was so bored after the first few pages. I stuck it out it, thinking maybe I’m just not focusing. Lol. The more I focused , the worst it got.

I wanted to throw my shoe at Rebecca, she was so irritating! The story line was repetitive, drawn out and completely unrealistic in certain parts. The sex scene was cringe-worthy. I do not recommend this at all. Save yourself!

Almost torture

The premise of the story was good but until the last two chapters I did not think I could get through it. The heroine was such a wishy washy character I was really annoyed with her actions most of the time. Slow going and predictable.
