A new dark romance series from the New York Times best-selling author of Twist Me
She fears him from the first moment she sees him.
Yulia Tzakova is no stranger to dangerous men. She grew up with them. She survived them. But when she meets Lucas Kent, she knows the hard ex-soldier may be the most dangerous of them all.
One night - that's all it should be. A chance to make up for a failed assignment and get information on Kent's arms dealer boss. When his plane goes down, it should be the end.
Instead, it's just the beginning.
He wants her from the first moment he sees her.
Lucas Kent has always liked leggy blondes, and Yulia Tzakova is as beautiful as they come. The Russian interpreter might've tried to seduce his boss, but she ends up in Lucas's bed - and he has every intention of seeing her there again.
Then his plane goes down, and he learns the truth.
She betrayed him.
Now she will pay.

I was on the edge of my seat the entire time. what I great story and it helps to fill in some other gaps I wondered about in the Julius' and Nora's story
I have listened to Capture Me ( Capture Me #1) by Anna Zaires and I would highly recommend you dropping everything to start it.
This book is the start of a spin off series from the Twist Me series. I would highly recommend reading/listening to that series first just because Capture Me will contain spoilers if you haven't read/listened the Twist Me series already and believe me you will definitely want to read that series.
I have to admit that once I read the blurb of this book I was abit cautious spin off series as I had fallen in love with Julian and Nora so I couldn't see how a new series could be set in their world but not have them as major characters. How wrong was I!! If anything I fell more in love with Lucas and Yulia (if that's possible) because the backdrop had been set from the Twist Me series and so a lot of the story and characters had been mentioned and developed.
I have to admit I'm conflicted as to whom Lucas should end up with. On one hand Yulia is the strong feisty independent woman who tests Lucas but on the other Rosa is so sweet caring and loving and I was rooting for her to get together with Lucas in the Twist Me series. I just don't know!
I listened to this book on audio and I would highly recommend listening to it. For me it heightens the experience and the narrators do an amazing job at bringing the characters to life.
This book deserves more than a 5 star and I can't wait to see what happens in book 2.
This was pretty good! I wish I would've known before I got started that it wasn't a full book!!! And I feel like it's going to get crazy!
I have loved Anna when I got ahold of her Twisted series. I just can't understand why she can't write a stand alone series. 5 hours for 1 credit and then a cliff. Really. Anna we will continue to buy the next in the series even if it is a stand alone. That aside I love her dark place she take her readers and I also like the references to her past books. Nicely done
The best past of the performance was the Russian pronuciation of the last names. They both are experienced and a pleasure to listen to.
A reviewer at Guilty Indulgence Review Site. I don't go anywhere without a book -ebook or audiobook- and I always have an opinion to share.
Deeply dark, evocative and raw. A spinoff from Twist Me trilogy, these characters are just as captivating. This author has another hit. Such well done narrators made it a great listen.
The Real Housewife of Chicago
bad news first: its just a huge foundation laying. I'm hoping book 2 gets to the point. lol
good news: now that I have background I'm still interested to enjoying book two.
This is among a very short list of books that I know my husband would love too. He likes lots of action and I like romance. This has both!
It is explicit so if you don't like the steamy details, find another book.
Also this is 1 of 3 books so to get the whole story you will need to buy all 3. There is a trilogy before this series that explains Lucas's boss's story. I did not listen to that first but will likely go back once I finish this. It is not necessary to enjoy this book though.
I loved the book and the woman, Shirl Rae, that narrated. The man, Roberto Scarlato, not so much. He sounded like Christopher Walken. Luckily, Anna Zaires writes so well, so I was able to stay engulfed in the story.
I can't understand the way she is being treated this woman was the reason 47 men burnt to death friends colleagues this woman passed information on time where they will be Russian was doing it right but this guy Oh my God whole book confusing I thought this book would have been what it should be instead it's some won't to be getting his rocks off 47 still dead 3 men badly burnt..Don't waste ya time let down frustrating and disappointing.
