Publisher's summary

Get ready for another Sullivan bad boy to fall in love in the third book of Bella Andre's bestselling contemporary romance series!

Gabe Sullivan risks his life every day as a firefighter in San Francisco. But after learning a brutal lesson about professional boundaries, he knows better than to risk his heart to his fire victims ever again. Especially the brave mother and daughter he saved from a deadly apartment fire... and can't stop thinking about.

Megan Harris knows she owes the heroic firefighter everything for running into a burning building to save her and her seven-year-old daughter. Everything except her heart. Because after losing her navy pilot husband five years ago, she has vowed to never suffer through loving - and losing - a man with a dangerous job again.

Only, when Gabe and Megan meet again and uncontrollable flames of desire ignite between them, how can he possibly ignore her courage, determination, and beauty? And how can she deny not only his strong bond with her daughter - but the way his sweetly sensual kisses are challenging her to risk everything she's been guarding for so long?

This winter, if one - or both - of them aren't careful, they just might end up falling in love.

Oh My...the best one so far. I love Gabe Sullivan

If you could sum up Can't Help Falling in Love in three words, what would they be?

What A Man!

Who was your favorite character and why?

Gabe of course. I loved Megan and Summer, but Gabe, oh boy, unbelievable steamy sensibility. Gabe is every woman's dream. He's strong, naughty, sensitive, sexy, risqué and just so, so yummy.

What about Eva Kaminsky’s performance did you like?

Eva has incredible talent. What a voice. I love they way she makes the female characters come to life. I love that when she does the talking parts and makes the females so adorable. Her voice has significant changes from "Narration" mode to "Speech" mode. Totally professional. Perfect for these novels.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

All of it. Sorry. Megan disarms Gabe right from the beginning. He tries to fight it but always thinking of her and her daughter. She has internal demons always comparing him to Dave and I guess that when the realisation hits her that Gabe is so much more, is perhaps my favourite part.

Any additional comments?

You will laugh, perhaps cry but most of all you will sigh a dreamy sigh and think what every woman thinks, "where in the heck is my Gabe!"

Review:

"Can't Help Falling In Love" by Bella Andre was the third in the Sullivan series featuring Gabe Sullivan and Megan Harris. This novel was a good series featuring such delightful characters that was so well developed on to draw you into a very interesting read. We find that Megan husband (David) has died and she has a daughter(Summer) to raise all by herself. Then there is a fire and where Megan loses all of her belongings, however she and her daughter are found and saved by a certain fireman named Gable Sullivan. This is where this story takes off and for Megan her life will never be the same. Will Megan and Gabe be perfect for each other even though they will be often caught fighting in their attraction for each other? With Megan not be sure this is the correct path for her and her daughter will she feels something for this guy? And, on the other hand do we find that Gabe also feels something for Megan? With Gabe being on hot and sexy fireman will they be able to get together in this fantastic story? This is where I say you must pick up "Can't Help Falling In Love" so see how this author will bring it all out to the reader. It will be a beautiful read that I can only recommend to you.

One Hot Fireman!

4.5 Stars

Can’t help falling in love is the 3rd book in The Sullivans series by Bella Andre. I listened to this book in audio format and absolutely loved it! The narrator, Eva Kaminsky, has an uncanny ability to make each character come alive. She even does a really good job with the child in this book. In my experience children can come off way over the top or annoying, but Ms. Kaminsky didn’t seem to have this problem. The story and the characters were endearing. The romance was heartfelt and beautiful.

Megan Harris has been through so much in her life. Raising a child alone, after the loss of her husband, she’s been tough and gave Summer the best life she could. Fate has decided to kick her, yet again. There was a fire in her apartment barely sparing the life of her and Summer and that was thanks to the heroic fireman who came to their rescue. Working hard to get her life back on track they go to the firehouse to take cookies as a thank you. The little girl quickly has a huge case of hero worship and Gabe seems equally taken with her. Megan finds herself drawn to Gabe, however his feelings seem to be the complete opposite for Megan. He acts as if she is a pain in his neck and he can’t get away from her fast enough. Things are about to get sticky, considering Megan has reunited with her dear friend, Gabe’s sister, and there seems to be a very good chance that her and Gabe will be thrown together socially.

Gabe Sullivan is blown away by the instant zing he feels when he sees Megan. He knew he respected her after the rescue of her and her daughter. Her strength and love of her daughter is one of the main reasons he was able to get the pair out of that burning apartment alive. But, he’s made a promise to himself that he would never again get involved with a woman that he’s rescued. In his opinion, it sets up huge expectations that a normal relationship can’t stand up to. Resisting Megan and her beautiful little girl is going to be one of the hardest things Gabe has ever had to do.

I really like how Megan deals with Gabe’s reaction to her. Because of her husband’s untimely death due to his adrenaline addiction she has no interest in any man who has a high risk life. Yet, she this huge attraction with Gabe is so hard to fight.

Gabe was so sweet with Summer. I absolutely loved how he treated the little girl like a person and respected Megan so much for being a good mother. The journey the two take to overcome the fears they have as a result of their past is so bittersweet. The romance they share together is so lovely and fun to melt into.

I absolutely love this series. This book did not disappoint in a

Every romance needs a Summer

Mother and daughter saved by firefighter Gabe Sullivan. This tale instantly engages you. Booth Gabe and Megan have their demons that they need to slay. Andre did an especially nice job in the novel of painting a backstory for both characters. Summer is the seven year old girl and in many ways steals this book, and the cooking. She certainly steals Gabe heart such that her mother can't escape him.

The pace of this book is steady. There are some revelations that help the story along. The narration is up to to the task. So far the Sullivans are a surreal family of over achievers finding love. This novel is a solid success. I suggest you give it a listed, The hours go by quick.

We all love Sexy Handsome Firefighters

Any additional comments?

Spunky Firefighter Gabe saved Megan and her daughter from a fire which automatically means that Megan is off limits. That's not the fire departments rule - that's Gabe's rule. He went down that road before, and it didn't have a happy ending. Gabe doesn't date women that he saved from fires.... Gabe Sullivan is pretty much the perfect man, sexy, romantic, determined and he loves kids. Megan is a widowed single mom, scared to love again. They are both determined NOT to end up in a relationship with each other !!

Stories are great, performance is way to DRAMATIC!

The performance was OVER dramatic to the point of being overboard. I enjoy the drama where it's needed and to the degree needed but her performances are to the point of turning me off. THANK GOODNESS the author is such a great writer because if the stories weren't as good as they are, I would have returned the books.
