Publisher's summary

What do you do when your carefully planned life takes a wrong turn into hell? When Quinn Maguire, a dashing young trauma surgeon, unaccountably accepts a position as an ER physician, her new boss, Honor Blake, suspects that Quinn is hiding a dark secret. While the two declare an uneasy truce in an effort to work together, both struggle with mutual, and unexpected, attraction.

Honor, however, has more than one reason to resist her growing feelings for the attractive newcomer - not the least of which is that her heart belongs to the woman whose wedding ring she wears. Amidst the chaos and drama of a busy emergency room, Quinn and Honor must contend not only with the fragile nature of life, but also with the mysteries of the heart and the irresistible forces of fate.

Editorial reviews

Paging Dr. Love? Fated Love tells the story of two beautiful women - both skilled doctors in a Philadelphia emergency room - who don’t realize they’re falling in love with each other until they’re beyond a cure. Author Radclyffe shows off her gift for crafting believable characters and then throwing them into challenging situations in this smart medical romance. Her two heroines are dedicated, admirable characters who glimpse a future in each other that the losses in their pasts had made them think was impossible. The nuance and depth Abby Craden brings to these characters will keep them in your head long after the audiobook has ended.

Heartbreaking, heartwarming.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I would, this is a great story. You always want to know more... you can easily identify with each other the women in the story. The feel and tone of the book is real, this could be you or it could be me and the mystery behind each women is true to how we lead our lives. I bought this book on 11/6/14 and today is 11/27/14 and I have listened to it 4 times, it is just a beautiful story.

What other book might you compare Fated Love to and why?

I do not compare books to each other each book offers something new so to compare is unfair. I would say this is very much a Radclyffe novel and I personally love her novels so I guess, I would compare it to that. If you want to compare it to another author i think this is a little similar to some of Nicholas Sparks books just gay.

What does Abby Craden bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I typically do not like Abby Craden, I find her that she tries to voice the "butch" character of the story and to me it sounds like no woman I have ever met. Just because a woman is "butch" doesn't mean she sounds like a man. I will say in this story, maybe because Quinn isn't really that "butch" she didn't do it very much, so I enjoyed her doing this story. I own the entire honor series where Craden is the narrator as well and I think it is a large part of the reason why it is my least favorite series.

Who was the most memorable character of Fated Love and why?

Quinn completely she is like a dream woman. Smart, kind, gentle, knowing. The way she is portrayed in the book I do not think you can read it and not fall in love with her. At least I didn't.

Any additional comments?

Even though Craden is the narrator of the story still listen, its really a great book.

A definite must READ!

Such a touching and heart filled book. The author and narrator did an amazing job with making you feel like as if you were watching a movie. Love all the characters in this book. I’m from Philadelphia so this book touches a little extra than other reads do. ;) I must say that the sex scenes are very hot also! All I have to say is WOW!

Sweet story

Sweet story. I don't mind the narrator too much. I think she's off occasionally on expressing the characters but hey.

Best Romance Ever

What did you like about this audiobook?
The pacing was pretty good and I thought that Abby Craden did a very good job with her version of Honor and the others. Not so much with Quinn, but you can't have everything.

How has the book increased your interest in the subject matter?
I always loved lesbian romance but this was my first with a medical theme but won't be the last.

Does the author present information in a way that is interesting and insightful, and if so, how does he achieve this?
Radclyffe is a former surgeon so she was very good at descripting and explaining the medical procedure and lingo.

What did you find wrong about the narrator's performance?
Quinn Macquire and Saxon Sinclair. Their voices was a bit to gravelly for my taste.

Do you have any additional comments?
Fated Love is the best romance I ever read. The love between Honor and Quinn is so powerful that it's no wonder that they were featured in other Radclyffe books.

Medical Romance

Honor Blake, ER Chief, is not happy to come back to work to find a new hire working for her. Quinn Maguire transfers from New York City where she was a trauma surgeon. Soon the chemistry between them is unmistakable. An erotic romance and exciting narration.

Well narrated perfect ending

Even though the book was 9 hours, I loved every bit of it, the way the book is written, showing the ups and downs of life of strong women who just fell in love with all the uncertainty of their fate.

Can’t write enough, loved it so much
