funny and different
the story was different than the usual time travel. there was one point when I was a little annoyed with the "he/she misunderstood each other" because it can only drag on so long. I have to say the narrator was amazing.

What made the experience of listening to Beyond the Highland Mist the most enjoyable?
I like Phil Gigante...I just like how he reads...

The ending was fine...kind of knew the direction of the story
What does Phil Gigante bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
Not sure what he brings but I just know that I enjoy how he brings the male characters to life.

Better read than heard
Is there anything you would change about this book?
This is my second time going through this story. I read it the first time years ago and continued on to the Fever Series. Since then, I have read the Outlander Series and have been to Scotland a few times. The narrator has more of an Irish accent than Scottish which drives me crazy and the dialogue is not accurate to the time. The Scottish characters should have had more gaelic.

Loved the story it really got you hooked.
Where does Beyond the Highland Mist rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
It is one of my new favorites.

Drawn out,
This book , in my opinion, is the worst out of the entire series
I find it drawn out and the “ spicy parts” epiphany of a cliche
I often wondered ,if it was supposed to be a parody?
On a flip side,the narrator is absolutely amazing and only reason I made it through the book
