The narrator is terrible.

I was hoping to enjoy this while driving my 1.5 hour commute, but the narrator pauses in the middle of words and sentences. I made it to chapter three and decided to read this on my kindle instead.

Need a better narrator

I almost didn't finish the series after the first few chapters due to the narrator putting me to sleep. I am glad I stuck it out because it is a wonderful story with a great plot. Please get a better narrator.

Entertaining series

I enjoyed all three books. I have never read a time travel historical romance with a reincarnation twist but really liked these ones.

Time travel - Highlander in Time Books 1 to 3

I really loved this audiobook and narration.
Every story has a young lady from the present going back in time to re-live a life from the 15th century.
Each book follows on from the first and continues the story of the MacLaren clan.
It has many elements from - finding true love, happiness, sadness, evil villains, witch trials to torture and killings from long ago.
In the end happiness and true love prevail.
Great stories, looking forward to reading the rest of the books.

Awful

This has to be the worst narrator I have ever listened to. I couldn’t even finish the book!

Very hard to get into

I enjoy the time traveling romance genre, but this series is hard to get into. The story is a bit confusing with the back and forth from dream world to regular world. The writing of the characters doesn’t draw you in. There isn’t any humor to relieve the darkness of the storylines. The the main characters don’t have much interesting interaction to build their relationships. Overall, quite disappointed with this series.

Worst narrator on the planet.

Ms. Preston writes excellent, exciting, beautiful stories. I want to encourage authors to recognize the importance of choosing an outstanding narrator. Authors pour their heart & soul into a story, yet they hire a narrator like Charles Robert Fox who reads the story without any hint of performing the story, without any hint of emotion, without any hint of having a tolerable reading voice even. He should not narrate. Pick a narrator like Tim Campbell or Dave Gillies. The listener wants the hero to have a sexy delivery of words. If the narrator doesn’t make you the author swoon, he or she sure as heck will turn your reader off.

narration

His monotone style and lack of excitement at all in the narration made it difficult for me to get into the story. I couldn't finish it.
