Layla Moss came out to the wilderness to get away from the everyday grind. A nice vacation away from all things involving the women's section at her department store was just what the doctor ordered. She enjoyed her job, and sometimes she got to help bumbling, clueless men as they tried to buy something for the lady in their lives. But when her best friend set her up on a blind date with someone else out here in the cabins, Layla was the one who felt clueless.
Ben Best has been called many things in his life. Very few of them were pleasant, but as a park ranger he knew what to expect. When you break up a party getting out of hand or bust someone for littering, they're going to throw some barbs at you. But he never expected to be called "Pantyhose Guy." Still, the pretty little lady had sass for days and there was something about that he found incredibly interesting.
But a dark cloud of danger was looming closer. Did their fragile young love have any chance?

I am addicted to audiobooks. It makes my 1 hour (each way) commute go by without me becoming an agressive driver. lol
I was given this book free for an honest review. I read this 2nd book first and was hooked. The story of Ben and Layla was short and complete. Nice to see an innocent finding love in a department store. You don't really need to read the other previous books. This audiobook was short and very sweet. I have enjoyed all the books I have read by Becca Fanning and will continue until they are all gone.
Yes, the story has all the right ingredients and was light and fun to listen too. The narrator also did a great job.
My title says it all. I want more of everything..............details, back story, depth. Please please give me more of the story with added description, build up and character.
She has a lovely lilting voice that is easy listening all the way!
I think Ben needs a prelude and more details in this book and all the fabulous characters introduced. This book was like a teaser............hints and glimpses of the characters and their history abound.
Please please please avoid the skips forward, (e.g. two weeks later) I want all the juicy details and to fall in love with these characters and their story too. You drew me in with a perfect storm of characters and events but I missed the build up and deeper connections supplied by a longer story.
Hello I am addicted to Audible!!! The addiction is real and I need help...more credits that is.....
I was given this book in return for unbiased honest opinion. I really enjoyed this short story and can't wait to listen to the next one.
Love books. Can get lost in them and spend hours there.

Does it make you feel better to no vote all my reviews? Sad. If it makes you happy have at it then. Hope it brings you a little joy.
I loved how Ben met Layla buying his granny pantie hoes to funny.
Again we know Ben is a bear shifter, and his family runs the nature park. But what I am not all too sure about it the Dating Agency, its only ever mentioned in passing.
Layla is unlike others where she wants to jump in and help she isn’t afraid when maybe she should be, but if she was the scared kind she never would have helped Dietrich or the children. So I am kind of on the fence about that.
It’s a great little short story and narrated very well. On to book 3 :D
