Escaping a cheating ex, finance whiz Sara Dillon's moved to New York City and is looking for excitement and passion without a lot of strings attached. So meeting the irresistible, sexy Brit at a dance club should have meant nothing more than a night's fun. But the manner - and speed - with which he melts her inhibitions turns him from a one-time hookup into her Beautiful Stranger.
The whole city knows that Max Stella loves women, not that he's ever found one he particularly wants to keep around. Despite pulling in plenty with his Wall Street bad-boy charm, it's not until Sara - and the wild photos she lets him take of her - that he starts wondering if there's someone for him outside of the bedroom.
Hooking up in places where anybody could catch them, the only thing scarier for Sara than getting caught in public is having Max get too close in private.

Although I love Bennett & Max evenly, I liked Sarah more than Chloe. Really I just like how her personality was a little less over the top stubborn. I'm still happy Bennett and Chloe are getting married. I just loved how all the characters tied into this story.
... a researcher; reading/listening to any book genre, when I can find the time to do so ... ... mainly between 11 pm and 1 am.
I really (really) enjoyed "Beautiful bastard", and thought the sequel would be at the same level (funny, hot, captivating..). I am a little disappointed...
At least Chistina & Lauren maintained the "hotness" and originality in the love scenes; but then again, what the story here??

I loved listening to book one, BEAUTIFUL BASTARD. I’m not sure why I took a break from this series, but BEAUTIFUL STRANGER reminded me that was not a good idea! Sara and Max are sizzling hot, and I’m not sure which couple I like more. Christina Lauren has a knack for creating the hottest me, the hottest lines, and the most envious female leads.
I loved how they were able to take such a taboo topic (or two) and turn it around into something incredibly hot! Even though Max and Sara were strangers, because of Sara’s past, it was completely understandable why she would choose to flirt with Max. This, coupled with her need for public/ private sex, made the story hotter than ever.
The narration was also excellent. Grace Grant did a fantastic job on BEAUTIFUL BASTARD, but somehow she was able to take Sara and make her voice entirely new. Not only that, but she has different and distinct voices for each character. Somehow she pulled off a sexy, alpha male with a British accent wonderfully.
Jonathan R. Cole did a great job as well. While I did not find him as impressive as Grace, he still did a wonderful job bringing Max to life. I wish he had been able to give the characters a more unique voice. Often times, the British accent Max has would carry over into his other voices. He had a hard time distinguishing male and female as well. However, his voice is a pleasure to listen to, and he did a great job being Max. I love when an audiobook has both female and male narrators. Grace and Jonathan did an excellent job!
I liked Beautiful Bastard ALOT, but LOVED Beautiful Stranger! The storyline was fun and I really enjoyed having the two narrators...and throwing in the British accent was a nice touch. It was also nice to get little updates on Chloe and Bennet.
I loved this book. I loved Jonathan Cole narrating the story. I loved how the book ended. I am a huge fan of this book. I want to listen to it over and over again. I highly recommend this book to others. This was quite wonderful. I give this book a million stars. Jonathan Cole needs to narrate other books like this one. I fell in love with Jonathan's voice and how he told the story. I want more books in this series.
It is already a five
They were good. Both the male and female voice were good. I liked the female better.
I can't think of any. I think they all flowed. I especially liked the scene with Max and Sara in the bedroom.
I just started this series. I read the last book first and it made me want to read the others. Great series.
No, the female narration is terrible. Her British accent for Max' s quotes is awful, like Eliza Doolittle talking dirty. Too distracting.
This book is awesome!! It definitely keeps your attention throughout the entire book. I recommend that you read this book, but first start with the first book in this series. You definitely will not be disappointed.
