Publisher's summary

Escaping a cheating ex, finance whiz Sara Dillon's moved to New York City and is looking for excitement and passion without a lot of strings attached. So meeting the irresistible, sexy Brit at a dance club should have meant nothing more than a night's fun. But the manner - and speed - with which he melts her inhibitions turns him from a one-time hookup into her Beautiful Stranger.

The whole city knows that Max Stella loves women, not that he's ever found one he particularly wants to keep around. Despite pulling in plenty with his Wall Street bad-boy charm, it's not until Sara - and the wild photos she lets him take of her - that he starts wondering if there's someone for him outside of the bedroom.

Hooking up in places where anybody could catch them, the only thing scarier for Sara than getting caught in public is having Max get too close in private.

All Time Favortie

I absolutely love this book! The writing is so good that it’s like a movie in my head. Max and Sara are one of my all time favorite couples. The story is so good as well as the spice.

Delicious!!

I enjoyed Beautiful Bastard but definitely liked Beautiful Stranger more. Two strangers with a strong attraction. One playboy the other just had her heart broken. Sarah was hesitant to get into another relationship so she decides she only wants to have fun. This book had more of a plot than the first book. There was more character development and an interesting story. Max was living every mans dream but he realizes its not enough. He wants the girl. Overall, this book was delicious and I will continue with this author.

lighthearted and fun

Would you consider the audio edition of Beautiful Stranger to be better than the print version?

Yes, b/c I like to be able to listen when I am running around instead of sitting down to read which I don't have much time to do.

Have you listened to any of Grace Grant and Jonathan R. Cole ’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I found Grace's voice annoying, however, she did a good job with the male's British accent. This is the first time I listened to Jonathan. I think he did a great job.

Any additional comments?

I like Beautiful Stranger better than Beautiful Bastard. I like that it alternated POV between Sara and Max every other chapter. It was refreshing to see both sides. I like Max. He was genuine and fun. I did not like Grace Grant's voice but she did a good job with the male's British accent.

highly recommendable

This novel its a highlight in its genre: Credible characters and for an erotic novel a fairly profound plot. And the two narrators did an excellent job!

More Max, Please!!!!

If you could sum up Beautiful Stranger in three words, what would they be?

YUMMY YUMMY YUMMY!!!!!!!

Any additional comments?

Where to start?! Max is so very yummy and I loved getting to know Sarah! I couldn't take my earbuds out!! I absolutely loved Max's voice I was glued as soon as he started talking! The one critical comment I would have is that for the prolog and the first few minutes of the 1st chapter, I was so royally confused what character was talking.....I assumed the voice was Chloe, and it took a few minutes for me to realize that it was Sarah. This follows the same feedback I had with Beautiful Bastard. Grace Grant's female characters sound VERY similar, causing confusion. However is have to admit that her impression of Max's voice was almost as yummy as Jonathan Cole's!! Mr. Cole could read Webster Dictonary to me and I'd be swoon! Can't wait for Beautiful Bombshell!!

Sweet and spicy

Would you consider the audio edition of Beautiful Stranger to be better than the print version?

Yes, because I love hearing Max and his accent.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Max. He is a horny, loveable lug.

Have you listened to any of Grace Grant and Jonathan R. Cole ’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

They are grand. I really love Grace. She even does guy voices well. Often, the men narrators sound like female impersonators when they do women voices.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Made me laugh and giggle.

Any additional comments?

Racy book but never vulgar.

Get your difibulators because Max Stella swoon.

Have you listened to any of Grace Grant and Jonathan R. Cole ’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Jonathan R. Cole should narrate all hunky British men, I'm looking at you Redheaded Series. Sweet baby cheesus and all the wise guys he could read stock quotes and I'd listen. And when he calls her Petal...*fans face* Max Stella could take me ehhummm.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

The end. We all know these types of stories end happy, that's why we listen. Well that and the ummm well let's put it this way: Night Club, Roof Top, Restaurant, Warehouse, Charity Party, Taxi, Office and I won't reveal the best because spoilers.

Max - "You could break my heart just know that, yeah" Now imagine the sexiest British accent saying that "yeah".

Any additional comments?

The story was engaging and the writing was excellent. The characters had purpose and the sex didn't overwhelm the story. Perfect blend of erotica and romance, much better than Beautiful Bastard. Now what are you waiting for go put that credit to good use.
