Guys only perspective weekend in Vegas...

This novella was a really quick listen. It covered only the first night of Bennett’s bachelor weekend in Vegas. Oddly enough this weekend was the ONLY weekend they ALL had available before the wedding and it was Valentine’s Day weekend too. Of course the ladies couldn’t be left TOO far behind.

Chloe and Sara couldn’t out right RUIN this guys weekend but they definitely added some serious steam and spice to the start of their bachelor weekend. There were several different scenes with each couple but ALL told in the Max and Bennett’s point of views which was an interesting change. I really enjoyed listening/reading about Max and Bennett chasing around and being whipped by their women. Another cute addition to the series.

Narration note: Since this one was about the boys weekend, it was solely narrator by men. Sebastian York is new to me and this series but Jonathan R Cole was already a narrator in the Beautiful Stranger. I enjoyed both narrators and of course Max Stella’s English accent. :-)

WOW to the narrators!!

First, I do love this series, however, these two narrators made it a home run!!! Love the bantering between them and their friends!!

I loved this short addition to the series. In keeping with each couples individual story, I was laughing throughout.

Is there anything you would change about this book?

Beautiful Bombshell is a quick, fun story about Bennett’s stag party weekend in Vegas. Bennett receives a surprise from Chloe and Max attempts a clandestine visit or two with Sara. This novella gives a further glimpse into the lives of Chloe and Bennett and Max and Sara post-Beautiful Stranger. It has all of the crazy sex adventures we’ve come to expect and love while also setting up Will’s story just a little ahead of Beautiful Player. Beautiful Bombshell is not a necessary read in the series but is a fun ride in between Beautiful Stranger and Beautiful Player.

Jonathon Cole did a fantastic job narrating, as to be expected. He consistently adds life and passion to Max without going overboard. Sebastian York has a captivating bass voice but I could have used a little more inflection when he was portraying Bennett. York’s voices for the other characters evoked more personality and I felt like that was missing from his Bennett. I know Bennett is a “beautiful bastard” but I would have liked to hear more feeling in his personality and be less monotone and apathetic. I have heard York consistently deliver a manly man with more feeling and missed that here (Tangled by Emma Chase). His performance here is still solid but I missed what I knew he was capable of giving.

Would you be willing to try another book from Christina Lauren? Why or why not?

Of course! They are witty and entertaining.

What aspect of Jonathan Cole and Sebastian York ’s performance would you have changed?

Jonathan Cole needed more inflection with Bennett's personality but otherwise was fine. Sebastian York was exceptional.

If this book were a movie would you go see it?

Yes.

A novella you need

This book ties all of the characters back together before Beautiful Stranger. Will had it coming to him! 😘

The book was a small follow up in the series. It probably wouldn't be as enjoyable without knowing the characters already. That being said this series and these authors are the best thing out there right now. Great fantastic characters and writing. I can't recommend enough. The narrators are perfection.

Read this thing.. Had me all rolled up in my panties.. Goodness what a sexy voice these men have and the scenes, Well they were Hot as well.. it's good ya'll...These two writers, have me waiting with baited breath wanting more from these scenes. And to top if off, the I laughed so hard.. I cannot give it away.. must read.
