Picking up where Beautiful Bastard left off, Chloe Mills and Bennett Ryan continue their steamy, combative relationship.
Just when Chloe’s career starts to take off, Bennett wishes it would all slow down long enough to spend a wild night alone with his girlfriend. But after he refuses to take no for an answer, Chloe and Bennett find themselves with two plane tickets, one French Villa, and a surprising conversation that, predictably, leaves them wrestling under the covers.

Busy mom who loves to read but doesn't always have the time. I enjoy YA, Romance and the occasional Best Seller.
Despite the title (I hate it) and length of this book (way too short) this was another amazing and super HOT listen by Christina Lauren. Wow! These ladies know how to write a sexy series!
This book picks up where Beautiful Bastard ended and before we get to Beautiful Stranger. If you were curious to see what happened to Bennett and Chloe between books then this is a must get for you.
Almost every scene in this book is dripping with heat and intensity. There is plenty of hot sex but this book had more romance than the others.
I'm just sorry it ended so quickly.
Hot romance/Sci Fi we're so lucky to have Audible to feed our book addictions. I love walking my precious dog Sydney & listening to my books
I so wish this book was longer but - it was amazing and oh so yummy hot. Christina Lauren has charmed me once again with this sexy read. It was over way to quick but hay, lets hope she is writing at triple speed for more of the same. The story was delivered perfectly by Grace Grant , and Kirby Heybourne, the story really suited the double narration. Another 5 star yummy listen. :)
I really enjoyed the previous book in this series, Beautiful Bastard. It ranks as one of my favorites. It was not only significantly better than any of the other books littering up this genre in recent history, I think it holds its own compared to more mainstream fiction. The narrator really enhanced the book.
This sequel was just OK. It did not include the tension and the energy the first book included. What made Bastard so compelling was the friction between the two main characters. The author found exactly the right chemical reaction between the two. It might be unrealistic to expect that reaction to survive once they were a committed couple. But I sure missed it when I read this book. It wasn't a bad book, but it didn't explode like the first one did and it wasn't nearly as funny. Grace Grant did a good job, but adding the male narrator added nothing to the experience.
Books books books
Yes but maybe not Kirby
I didn't get why if u have two narrators why do I still have to hear Kirby doing the female lead and the same goes for Grace. I didn't really care for Kirby but I do have to say he did get a little better the more the book went on.
I get that the writer is trying to show the vulnerable side of the characters but I think Ryan was to sappy, so maybe if he weren't so needy but I enjoyed the story it was cute.
I have NO time to read so Audible is perfect! I listen while commuting and even at the gym. My interests vary from month to month.
Fun continuation of the loved characters Chloe and Bennett. Was a quick read but I loved every minute.
Like the romance, but love the action involved to get there!
How many times have you finished a book and thought, man, I wish there was more to that story....WISH GRANTED!
This book picks up where beautiful bastard leaves off, and should be read prior to beautiful stranger...bad publisher for releasing them out of order!
We learn more about Chloe and Bennets relationship and this book fills in the back story that was eluded to in beautiful stranger.
There were some hot scenes and the characters were great as always! For less than $4 no need to use a credit, enjoy!!!!!
I really enjoy the world of books! Narration just add layers to that world... don't u think? :)
Dual Narration really can kill a story. I soo loved Beautiful Bastard! It was amazing.. But this... I pre-ordered this... but the dual narration killed it. I love Grace Grant as a narrator, she could have done this book alone. Dual Narration just ruin this for me, I didn't make it past chapter 2. I wonder if it got better? Who knows...
Author of more than 50 novels. I read mostly romances and love adult romance erotica and historical romances set in the 1870 1880 west.
It was fun to see the Beautiful Boys bonding in Vegas.
I love the brassy Chloe.
When Chloe gave Ben the lap dance.
More. More. More.
Way too short- and I would have preferred one narrator instead of two. The man wasn't good and I thought the woman should have done the entire book. I adored the first book and think that Christina Lauren is the best writer int he genre. I am only disappointed that it was so short!
Pretty freaking high.
Grace Grant is an excellent narrator, she makes subtle differences to female characters so you can tell who is talking without one girl being a valley girl or ghetto.
Kirby Heybourne, well, he did a great job. I've seen him in some LDS movies and all I could think the entire time was, "Le gasp, did he really just SAY that?!" I didn't know if it was hot because of the story or because I knew who was saying it.
Yep and I did!
Love this series! Hopefully we'll have another one!
After beautiful bastard I was looking forward to the continued story of Bennett and Chloe , this has been rushed its short and has no real content such a shame as there is a lot of mileage in there story but Christina has tried to cash in on the success of bastard and not paid enough attention to this book . It's also extremely short , trust me when I say there is nothing new in this book , after bastard and even better still stranger a real big let down.
The male narrator was all wrong Grace is as good as ever
Author Needs to re read bastard and stranger herself and then realise the disappointment - sorry
