Not my favorite!

Is there anything you would change about this book?

I have read all of the other books in this series and this one was not my favorite. It just had to much sex stuff. That doesn't normally bother me but it got to the point where I was like, get on with it already. Very glad it was a shorter listen.

Would you listen to another book narrated by Grace Grant and Kirby Heybourne ?

Not my favorite narrators but they did an ok job.

Do you think Beautiful Bitch needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?

She could but as long as it wasn't just all about sex. They have to do other things.

I just don't feel as though Kirby portrayed Bennett's personality or masculinity. Grace did a fabulous job.

Is there anything you would change about this book?

Yes, Chloe was sweet, SNARKY & sarcastic in Beautiful B*stard. I don't remember Chloe as being so rotten nor Bennett being so wishy washy.

It was a bit frustrating to WAIT 3 hours to get them to spend some time together, but this is a good bridge to the next book (PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE give us another!)

Would you recommend Beautiful Bitch to your friends? Why or why not?

Sure, as part of the series but not as a stand alone book-because you really need to know the characters history (from the previous book) for this novella to make sense.

What do you think the narrator could have done better?

I love Grace Grant by herself...the trading off with a second narrator was not necessary.

Was Beautiful Bitch worth the listening time?

Sure, but again- only with having read the Beautiful B*stard first.

Any additional comments?

This wasn't nearly as hot as the first two 'Beautiful' books. I don't know if that was because of the length (this was only a 3 hour novella) or intentional but I do hope the next installments are as steamy as the novels.

Story Great

Everything about this book was great except the narrative read by Kirby Heybourne. I stuck with it, it’s a short story. He is not the Bennett voice at all. Grace Grant makes listening so entertaining and enjoyable.

Kirby is NOT Bennet Ryan

What did you like about the performance? What did you dislike?

This book was good but the biggest problem for me is that Kirby Heybourne is NOT Bennet Ryan, he's Nick from Gone Girl. He is actually, perfectly Nick from Gone Girl. Not a deep enough voice or sexy enough cadence for BR.

Fell Short in story length and storyline.

I guess I was hoping for more. I really liked this series and thought that this would be a bit more. It was so short and I feel like I wanted more and did not get it. You did get a bit of background into Chloe’s and Bennett's relationship. But is was nothing exciting or wow about it. It was like chapters that she took out of the first book and thought "hey maybe I can make some more money publishing them " and then stuck them in a little book. I've read other novella's that had great little stories to them. I wish she would have written a entire book with more twists and turns for them. I like all the character's she has written about and so I was hoping that she would have written about all of them to catch us all up. Still love the series and would highly recommend it but if you did not get this book you don't lose any of the story.

Great Continuation

Fun continuation of the loved characters Chloe and Bennett. Was a quick read but I loved every minute.

Where does Beautiful Bitch rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Pretty freaking high.

What does Grace Grant and Kirby Heybourne bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Grace Grant is an excellent narrator, she makes subtle differences to female characters so you can tell who is talking without one girl being a valley girl or ghetto.

Kirby Heybourne, well, he did a great job. I've seen him in some LDS movies and all I could think the entire time was, "Le gasp, did he really just SAY that?!" I didn't know if it was hot because of the story or because I knew who was saying it.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yep and I did!

Love this series! Hopefully we'll have another one!

I would have to say Bennett. He makes me laugh. He has made a complete 180

What does Grace Grant and Kirby Heybourne bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I enjoyed their performances. The narrators can make or break a book in audible format. Grace Grant is so believable in both Beautiful Bastard and Beautiful Bitch. She is among my favorite narrators.

Wish it was longer.

I really enjoyed the first book and just wish that this one could have been a touch longer. Can't wait to start the next. 🐙
