Brenda Morrison has known Jay Santorini for years, but he's off limits. He's her friend's ex-husband, and except for one slip-up, they've always had a platonic relationship. But now that she's back in Atlanta, the smoldering attraction between them is much harder to resist.
Jay has always kept a hands-off approach to Brenda, and the time they spend together starts out innocently enough, or so he pretends. Because the truth is, Jay has feelings for her, and those feelings are anything but innocent.

This story was a good love story about a couple who loved one another but could not act on their feelings. His ex-wife was her friend, and the two of them just could hardly be in the same room without sparks flying. Their attraction for visible to everyone including his ex.. A good story.
Love this book. I highly recommend it. All 3 of the books from this series is fabulous. The narrator's voice is sooooo meltingly awesome. everyone should have a husband to sounds like that. Wanting more 💗😘
I know this is supposed to be fantasy but come on! It was like I was reading the script of a soap opera! Jenna having twins with two different fathers but no one finds out for 10 years?!? Then Jenna waits another 2 years to tell anyone. And then Nick and Jay both being in love with Brenda and not saying anything for years then all of a sudden they both want to declare their love for her!?! Brenda's character wasn't developed enough for me to find a reason why both these men were in love with her. She was kind of pathetic. I give it a C- overall
I very much enjoyed Ms. Diamond's story and probably Mr. Pauley's performance even more *kudos on his very sexy Italian accent!* Great listen and I totally recommend!
Like her other stories, this one was good once you got into the meat of it. It took a while to really get into the story so for that I only gave it four stars.
Enjoyed it!! Loved the unexpected events and narrator was great.
Ready for part 2!! Would like to know the outcome of the custody
battle and if Brenda ever talks to Jenna about that interview.
I totally enjoyed Brenda and Jay's story. This story, as all Delaney Diamond stories are, was very realistic and very well written. I also love how characters from the previous stories are incorporated into the current book. It was nice to see what Talia and Tomas were up to. I don't do spoilers, so I will just say that if you haven't read the books in this series, do not continue to deny yourself an amazing treat. Delaney kind of snuck this release in on me, but I'm not mad at her because it was wonderful surprise. I can't wait to read book four knowing I will get to see the continued progression of Brenda and Jay's life.
Hearing the audible version of the story adds to it. The only complaint I would have is the over exaggerated accent used with Jay's character.
This is not your run of the mill romance and I loved that about it! The characters are complex with realistic flaws, and the story is wonderful, with messy situations and relationship-as is the way with love and life. It was captivating, and I was very impressed with the complexity of the story, the development of the characters and the progression of the plot! It isn't a necessarily long story, but so much happens, and none of it feels rushed. I also loved how the central issue played out in a way that highlighted different cultural perspectives on "the code," without being overt or corny. My only complaint was the narrator's Italian accent. It was a bit too much, but seemed to improve (or at least become less irritating) as the story progressed. The narrator's performance for the other characters was great and well differentiated.
I enjoyed the story line. Loved the twist with the twins but would have like to hear about the outcome of the custody battle. I'm a huge fan and really enjoy your books. I get lost in the stories because it gives me hope that people are still falling in love.
