the characters continue to grow in this book and I enjoyed the journey thus far. I mean come on I listened to the entire book including the first one in the same day. enjoy might be too mild a statement but I am definitely ALL IN for series. looking forward to devouring the 3rd book.
Love to read and when i'm busy I'll take an audiobook.
There is something about two lost souls who find each other and then struggle through the darkness together. In these types of novels books you have a storyline that sometimes gets losts with too many erotic sex scenes. I found myself fast forwarding through certain scenes...guess I had heard enough and only wanted the story to develop. Good for those that love that part!!!
Loved this book. This love affair screams hot and sexy. I love the male narration in the British accent. He really brought the story to life.I can't wait to read the next book3! The Black Stone Affair Series is a must read.(-:
I enjoyed the whole series. But then I love Shane East's voice, too. Overall the book was good. Big twist. The UK "Shades of Grey" would have been a good title, but the female lead has more depth than that of Shades.
The sex is far more graphic and doesn't really add to the story. The story seems to have been written as one complete book and cleaved into 3 books by the publisher or editor. But it masterfully ends each book in a way that set the author up well for series sales and makes the reader want to know what is next.
Oh my goodness can i just say shane east is a great narrator his voice is absolutely amazing i could listen to his voice all day, amazing and his accent oh my goodness i just melted every time he spoke. Anyways the book was great i had not read the rest but now i feel like i am going to have to. Give this book a try recommended.
So many books so little time - but Audible gives me the gift of multitasking - I can get those simple tasks done AND be up on great reads.
I may be in love with this audio for Mr. East's voice - however the story is well done too. TOTALLY worth it.
Angry sex scene
meeting at the waterloo
with his father drinking beers
London is among my favorite cities & I felt I was there.
I am a busy sports mom listening to romance only. If the narrator is good and it has a decent plot, I will find it enjoyable.
I am not sure yet. It wasn't a bad read, just nothing special.
Nothing special from this book, but I will keep reading until the end since it's not painful to listen to.
Yes and already have.
The reading was so much better on this book than the last. Ethan was soooo tortured, funny, annoying, and completely in love.
Laugh, cry, scream, moan. Couldn't put it down for the night to go to sleep.
Loved the change in reading from the first book to this one. Hope the same continues in the next book.
What's in her past?
When Brin finally calls Ethan, and he learns she is having weird things happening, and they reunite.
Ethan, as her is the hero.
A hero with a muse, can he keep her safe? What about their pasts?
So far so good..
