No redeeming value, AT ALL!

Narrator does 1 good male voice and the rest just sound dopey. And the plot...gesh! Okay, I only got 2 hours into it, I won't lie, but I feel justified.

The heroine of the story was just plain dumb, I mean truly too stupid to live. She starts an affair with her practically engaged boss, realizes that is NOT a good plan and starts dating someone else. Of course the boss is pissed, the new guy is clueless, and everyone seems to be sleeping with everyone. Lots of cheating, no condoms used, and the word Love is tossed around like the word of the day!

I finally turned it off when guy#1 was at her house, and 2 minute after he leaves guy#2 knocks on her door....she jokes "What did you do drive around the block until the coast was clear?", he admits he did...then after guy#2 leaves guy#1 calls and she acts like she hasn't seen him in days...um....he was JUST THERE!!!

Poorly written, poorly executed, not worth the $4.95 I paid for it....and the "steamy" scenes had zero steam! They were written in almost a clinical way, no buildup, no play by play in a sensual way...have I mentioned this book had ZERO redeeming value?

PASS!!!!!

Anyway, still going through my library of books I have purchased and never got around to listening to. I'm hoping my next "A" book is better than this drivel.

This story drove me completely crazy.

I don't mind stories with drama and angst... But I detest stories where the women are weak and they allow abuse. It's interesting to me that all of the previous negative reviews are based on the "cheating" aspect of the story... For me the cheating was a factor, for me not liking the book, but the true reason was the ABUSE... This story was a complete waste of my time and I would not recommend it to anyone...

Could it be any more predictable? Classic battered woman story, with a happy ending. Lame

Too Many Sex Scenes

We have a great story here with way too many sex scenes that all sound about the same. Next, to really try to bring things together, the author has to introduce a habit of one character in the last couple of chapters that was never mentioned or even alluded to throughout the story - making one feel a bit cheated that the author just suddenly had to find someway to explain the rest of the book.

There's a story in there and a good message, unfortunately it seems diminished by sex scene after sex scene.

Wow! Can't believe what I wrote above. Didn't remember listening so tried again and I'm stuck with "why on earth would I have ordered this drivel? Come on, not interested in how the main character acts like a slut. How did, why did anyone write or listen to this?

worst book ever

I'm so glad this book was free. worst characters, worst plot, worst syntax, grammar, and word selection. How did this lady get an agent, editor, publisher!?!?!?! TERRIBLE
