Chase Russell has done a lot of growing up since he was thrown two hundred years into the past to the Yellowstone wilderness. No longer the reckless delinquent he used to be, he has made many life-altering decisions. Providing for his new family has become his number one priority.
Faced with the unthinkable, he'll do whatever it takes to save the ones he loves, even if it means crossing the boundaries of time. When a strange elder reveals a shocking secret and demands a promise in exchange for his help, Chase doesn't hesitate to meet the old man's request.
Thrown back into a world where he no longer belongs, Chase confronts old demons and faces new challenges. Will the lessons he's learned in the past be enough to save his family in the future?

Top of the list. It brought all the characters from past books together like a family reunion. It was a well narrated story.
Yellowstone Redemption and Yellowstone Deception. We meet Chase in the first one and Jana and Dan in the second one.
I love how they all got to meet again in Yellowstone Promise.
Chase. He sounded so much as he would sound in your head when reading about him. The smart attitude comes across and the gentleness to Sarah comes across strongly. I think Nick did an excellent job with the voices in this book especially with Chase.
Yellowstone Promise and Old Friends.
This was a wonderful story to listen to that took you back to old friends and a family you fell in love with. Nick did a great job of telling the story and highlighting the writers events as she had written them. I loved reading the books and love hearing them on audio.
I would rank Yellowstone Promise VERY HIGH among the audio books I've listened to so far. The fact that it continues the story of the Osborne family in Yellowstone, past & present makes it VERY SPECIAL!! I can't seem to hear enough about this family's adventures.
I would compare it with Yellowstone Redemption. Yellowstone Redemption begins the story of Sarah, and Chase, and Yellowstone Promise continues their story. I always enjoy "learning" more about the lives of the characters, and the continuation of "their" story is important to me as a reader/listener.
My favorite scene was when Chase was reunited with his mother, and he was able to attain some closure, by knowing that she was going to be "O.K.".
I did listen to it in one sitting!! Once I started it, I couldn't stop. Being a Novella, it made it easier for me to just lose myself in it.
I really enjoyed listening to this story on audible. The narrater is FANTASTIC!! Each character just came to life! He did a GREAT job giving everyone their own unique voice. Good Job Nick Sarando!! I am so glad that Peggy L. Henderson is giving me more of the Osborne story. I love the characters, and the setting in Yellowstone is SPECTACULAR!!! I can't help but to BEG for more in this series!!
Yes, if they had read Yellowstone Redemption, it's the perfect way to check back up on chase and sara
The continuing story
Past to present
Chase, just love how he has grown as a person.
I had read this novella twice, but had not listened to the audio version until now. I enjoyed the narrator's version of the story.
(I was given a copy of the audio book by the author for a review.)
I liked them the same, but Nick made the book fun to listen to. He has a little smile in his voice just when it's needed and can be very serious as he speaks for Daniel.
Of course Chase! I love the way that he confirms his redemption that he experienced in the past and he lives it out in the future.
I love the way Nick performs Chase. I can see Chase with a bit of a sarcastic, sexy half grin all the time (except when speaking to Daniel), and Nick captures Chase's character perfectly!
When Chase meets his mom again and then has to say good-bye.
Another home run novella by Peggy! It is not a cliff hanger, but it is FULL of hints and little bits for future books. Not too short and not too long and with a strong plot. Peggy is brilliant at bringing time travel and "western/moutain man" genres together and it is actually believable!
Nick's voice is fantastic and this story lets you get another taste of Chase and Sarah, who are my favorite characters of the series. It also shines some light on the time traveling ability. You will need to read the other books to really understand this one
Proud Canadian who loves Jesus, Dogs, Country Music, Lilacs, Gregory Peck movies and audio-books with a HEA.
Time Travel adventure involving, Aimee, Daniel, Chase, Sarah, Jana and Dan. Absolutely Incredible! I really loved the reunion between Chase and his mother.
Yes! I enjoy listening to audio books and this happens to be a favorite because of the author and the narrator. I have listened to Nick Sarando before and really love his voice.
I love this audio book that ties in with the Yellowstone Series, which once again brings together a few of my favorite heroes and heroines from the other audio books. Daniel and Aimee, Chase and Sarah, Dan and Jana, all very strong characters, that are hard to let go when you reach the end. Peggy L. Henderson is a wonderful writer and her stories pull you in from the first page until you have read the final word and than you want to start over again. Listening to Nick's narration of this audio book did the same thing and adds so much pleasure and his portrayal of all the characters were very believable, especially Chase. This audio book has the humor, romance, love of family and a little suspense that you always expect from this author along with the beautiful descriptions of Yellowstone National Park. I highly recommend this audio book and the whole Yellowstone series. JudyE
