A Voice in the Wind

This started slowly, but then was so good! My only real complaint was the ending. I didn't like the gruesome end.

Beautiful and captivating

I found myself completely lost in the story for hours at a time. The narrator's voice is soothing and intoxicating, then suddenly jarring and invigorating. I felt a full range of emotions throughout the story, thanks to the beautiful story and diverse, captivating characters.

Loved it

Some parts are a bit too steamy for me. I won't listen to it around my kids. However, it's such a compelling story. Well written and captivating. I have a hard time putting it down and I'm sharing it with everyone I know. This series is such a better alternative to traditional romance novels.

Amazing

I have read this book 2 or 3 times over the years and thought it would be fun to get it for audible.
At first, I had a hard time with the narrator but that's only because after reading it several times, you almost imagine what the voices should sound like and when a mans voice is trying to be a little girls, it can be hard. Overall he did an excellent job though.

This book is full of description, depth, scripture and truth. Beautifully written and really, a wonderful lesson in trusting God.

This is one of the best series I've ever read.

Rivers shows the ugliness of human self satisfaction and the beauty of God's love in realistic contrast.

A captivating thought provoking story

A book worth reading for anyone pondering the excesses of our society yet built on incredible and historical truths. The comparison of first century Roman society with our own were unmentioned but ever present. An incredible well woven story.
