The best book I ever listened to!

Would you consider the audio edition of A Voice in the Wind to be better than the print version?

Yes!

Who was your favorite character and why?

My favorite character was Hadassah because of her simplicity in loving God and her unique way of seeing things for what they were not what they appeared to be.

What does Richard Ferrone bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

His voice is absolutely amazing to listen to. His inflections and intonations bring up the most important parts of what the character is experiencing. This happens to the point that the narrator disappears in the story creating the impression that you are listening to the actual characters speaking and not just one person.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

There were multiple moments in the book that moved me: when Hadassah saves Julia from her husband's rath, when Marcus abstains from deflowering Haddasah, the arena scene and Haddasah courage.

Any additional comments?

Listening to the book, I cried and lamented as well as laughed and smiled with the characters!

Great!

I loved listening to this book. It was fantastic. It kept my attention and had a lot of overlap with what is going on in America today.

Great Books

Would you consider the audio edition of A Voice in the Wind to be better than the print version?

Both were equally good.

What was one of the most memorable moments of A Voice in the Wind?

There are some many moments its hard to pick just one. I think the effect Hadassa has on people as she is completely unaware of it.

What does Richard Ferrone bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

His voice holds great emotion for all the charters.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

I have no idea

Narration Issues

I love this series and have read the books multiple times so when I found out about the audio books I was thrilled, except for the narration. By no means is Richard Ferrone not a talented narrator, but for this particular romance series the harshness of his voice is difficult to listen to and in my opinion unrelatable to the characters. Is it possible to have another narrator option? I'm interested to know.
