I like Demon, but I like Flick even more. I like his temper and the fact that she is not intimated. The series has detailed sex scenes, so prepare for it. It still comes across as very romantic. Simon Prebble's narration is incredible. This story has a great storyline. One thing I noticed was that Demon's father was barely mentioned in this story. Seems odd. Otherwise....I love this series.
Stephanie Laurens has a knack for great story lines, and keep you reading, doesn't seemed to be a dull moment of reading. Each book you read keeps getting better and better.
I loved this one best! The characters came alive with the story line. It was entertaining, funny and captivating.
It made me laugh with the interaction of Demon and Fleck.
As always, Simon is the star!
Yes the endings are predictable. I did like this book better than the previous one in the series. This was enjoyable but not my favorite so far. Seems like the male characters have lacked depth since the first couple books. However, I will finish the series as it is interesting to see how they all come out in the end. I think this is a fabulous narrator for this genre.
So far THE BEST of the Cynster family . Loved Demon. This one has it all, Mystery, Romance, Passion and GREAT NARRATION !!!
My name is Irene and I'm a lifelong bookaholic. A few years ago, I started adding audiobooks and I'm so happy I joined Audible in 2015 :-))
Just get the books in this series. They're great- I love them all. Prebble does a wonderful job with the narration!
The best thing about Lauren's books is Simon Prebble. The stories are all the same....fun since you know ahead of time both the plot and ending...great comfort on a sleepless night.
it's been many many years since I met lived with the Cynsters, now I am doing it all over again in the audible format, hard to complain with Simon Prebbles narrating. truly one of my tor series.
Because she had been set aside by her relations at a very young age, Felicity (flick) had learned to mistrust giving her heart. Demon Harry Cynster is her match. He just needs to let her know his heart, which is the hardest choice.
I don't like it, it's boring. I have enjoyed other Stephanie Laurens books far better.
Yes, because other ones were better.
He's okay. Not my favorite narrator, but I won't pass on a book if he's the narrator either.
"Unfortunately Not for Me!"
I found the heroin truly annoying and insipid and couldn't finish the book which is a shame as I usually love Miss Laurens books! Needed an older woman in the part!
