I have loved this book forever!
I struggled with this book, not for any reason but the narration of Douglas was awkward. Wish they had selected a female with great range like Davina Porter would have made this book perfect

Could not stop listening
What a great story! After reading the reviews I had to listen to this, and was not disappointed! I thought it would last me two weeks of my commute, but had to finish the second half in 2 days to see what happened. Would recommend to anyone who relishes a great love story!

I've always loved this book!!!
What did you love best about A Knight in Shining Armor?
I love the overall storyline. It was wonderful to be able to listen to one of my favorite books as I drove 6 hours each day last week.
What did you like best about this story?
I love the story that true love is found no matter what.
Did the narration match the pace of the story?
I enjoyed the narration except for the lead female character voice, it just didn't match the voice I created when I read the book not very feminine--guess that is expected since narrator is a guy. I still enjoyed it once I was able to get passed that issue.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
I laughed and cried but I always do when I read the physical book.

This is a great book to be introduced to Jude Deveraux and the Taggert/Montgomery families.

True soulmates will find each other!
This story was fantastic! The writing was beautiful, the characters were likable (even the ones that weren't supposed to be likable) and I loved the original plot; it was unlike anything I had ever read.
I was drawn in from chapter 1.
I loved what a mess Douglass was, but it wasn't annoying or frustrating. Her character just made me laugh. She was fun to follow as she went on her journey from one century to another, and I truly felt like I was inside this world Jude Deveraux created.
The ending was PERFECT and it even made me tear up. LOVED it and I will definitely will be reading more of her books!
ONLY thing I wasn't 100% on board with was the female voices from the male narrator. I did enjoy his flawless reading but there were times I had to break from the Audible and read the text, as it was bugging me.
Overall, fantastic Audible!

I found this book title on a list of the 10 best historical romances, a list that included Jane Eyre and Pride and Prejudice! I immediately bought the audio book and found upon listening that I had read the book before. I loved Steve West's performance. It made a book that I slightly remembered into one that I will not forget. It WAS a fantastic story!
