Publisher's summary

It was lyrics at first sight when I saw Violet Rhodes across that crowded party. She was lights and darks, swirled together. Music in motion. And all of it while looking like a hitwoman at an Elvis convention.

I had nothing to offer the intriguing girl but a one-night stand. I figured I’d revel in my last night of anonymity before my first tour and shoot her a quick “we’ll always have LA!” good-bye the next morning. But nothing went according to plan.

In one night, Violet crawled under my skin and into my bloodstream. She tattooed her name across my chest and between my legs. She became my muse. And then she was gone. Now, months later, here she is again. And in a twist I never saw coming, it turns out Violet is ultra-violet radiation. Beautiful, ethereal light bringing with her the promise of damage and destruction. My brain tells me to walk away from this girl, but my heart can’t stop feeling like she might be one of a kind...the sort of girl who comes along once in a violet moon.

Rockstar is a stand-alone romance, the love story of Dax Morgan and the electrifying woman who rocked his world during his journey to worldwide rock superstardom.

My Thoughts on Rockstar

It was so great visiting with the Morgan family again. This amazing family created by the wonderful mind of Lauren Rowe has worked it's way into my heart and I don't ever want to let them to go.

Dax was every bit as fantastic as every other member of the family I've met and gotten to know in previous books. The first introduction scene between him and Violet sets the perfect stage for this epic story. And as it progresses I fall more in love with Dax and his creative mind and caring heart. I loved reading his POV on family interactions.

The twists in this book though sometimes had me yelling, shaking my head, and yet totally engrossed. Things did not go how I thought they would, and that made the story that much better.

This is the kind of book you start and don't want to put down. It's the kind you know you're going to want to enjoy again in future.

The narrators were both so amazing. The more I hear from John Lane and Lauren Rowe, the more I love their performance. They bring so much personality to the story and make it an even better story overall.

Great Morgan Brothers books

This book is also entertaining like the rest of the brothers not as funny as the ones in the earlier books but also a great story and on the personality of the person there writing about.

I Literally Can't Get Enough of This Family/Series

The only other review I've ever written was for the last book in the series "Mr Bodyguard"...but I've LOVED this entire series SO MUCH! This book is no exception: LOVE. Please write more!

Rockstar Soars

Once again Lauren Rowe has hit a home run! A double home run. She’s performed a hatrick in this story scoring three times: Emotionally, Funny and believe it or not Anticipation.
This is by far her best work!
Read for yourself Dax and Violet’s story friends to lovers. The rawness as they bare their souls.
The lyrics to Dax’s songs are so powerful and perfect! And the narration by Lauren Rowe and John Lane is right on point as they emote and delve into these characters so well.
I bow down to Lauren Rowe...nobody does it better!!

Rockstar Baby

So this book went through a lot of ups and downs.

The beginning-Part 1 was good for the most part but Dax went through a lot of soul searching and we got to see/hear ALLLLL of his “woe is me” “poor me” moments and it got to be a bit much.

The last two hours of the book after the couple find many their way to each other and they work through things is much better.

While I didn’t feel I had to force myself to finish this book and I liked it better than Zander’s book it’s not going down as my fave Morgan Brother book.

John Lane and Lauren Rowe did a great job bringing this book to life and my only real complaint is when Lauren tries to voice Papa Morgan. Her voice is so sweet and is a higher register that part failed her.

I would still recommend this book to everyone as it rounds out the end of this series of books nicely.

Final Book

Bad timing and lies of omission best describes the first connection between Dax and Violet, but when the truth comes out it does nothing to tamp down the connection between them regardless of the consequences.
A great story to finish off the series.

Dax's story lived up to my highest hopes!

I stumbled upon Lauren's books and listened to Swoon first. I lived that book and just had to figure out the back stories of all those side characters. I found Lauren's reading order list and was excited the listen to all the Morgans stories but knew I was looking forward to Dax and Violets story most. I'm going g to keep going g and listen to Reeds Troy because he is a huge puzzle I want to figure out. I hope Lauren decides to write a future books for Dean and his band mates. Declan cheated in Violet but I know in Swoon he tries to redeem himself.

22 Goats

I really enjoyed listening to this story and absolutely loved the music insert. This is the first book I’ve listened to with this included. I hope it catches on . Congratulations Lauren! We’ll done!
